Lovely site. Really quiet and peaceful. We had sea view, and was amazing. The site is very high up, so steep, parking next to caravan helped. You have to use a code to get in, so secure. We didn't use the swimming pool or club, so can't comment on that. But will definitely go back next year.

Liked: We spent 2.5 days and we enjoyed it every minutes, we were lucky with the weather during our stay, kids were having a good time and enjoyed the big space and great view of the bays. Swanage beach and town centre just 6 mins driving from the camp, parking easy to find and location in central, very close to the beach and town centre. Toilet and shower were clean and plenty of hot water. We did not have Wi-Fi but my O2 connection was strong and has good signal.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: I had a lovely stay, the reception were helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower facilities were ok, but probably could have been cleaned more often, It was quiet whilst I was there and so enough showers and loos for that volume. In the busier times then maybe they could do with more.

This site offers stunning views over the bay and I would stay there again.

Disliked: The listing on Pitch Up suggested that they do an iceblock swap which they didn't do. They would freeze your blocks for you, so I guess the answer is to take extra blocks so that you can have some in your cooler and some freezing.

The leisure facilities next door are just a swimming pool, with the feeling of a local leisure centre. I didn't use the pool so can't comment any further, but don't be misled to think there are any spa facilities like a sauna for example.

Some of my fellow campers! Would you seriously sit and watch one person struggle to put down a tent in the wind and not offer to help ?! Thanks to the lovely man who did come from the other side of the camp to help.....for those that were a meter away and just watched ...that's not in the spirit of camping! This is nothing to do with the camp but I have to mention it as I am still miffed by it now!

Liked: Lovely views and very pleasant and friendly staff.

Disliked: We came as it was described as a peaceful campsite. Unfortunately this wasn’t our experience - with people playing music until 1am and another large group shouting and laughing loudly until the early hours.
The toilets and showers were very unclean for the 3 days we were - either not cleaned or not cleaned properly.

Liked: The views are great

Disliked: There are not enough shower and toilet facilities for that size of campsite and they are not cleaned often enough.
We decided to move on earlier than planned because of that.

Cyclists, be aware there's a long very steep hill to get to the campsite. Impossible to cycle with luggage.

Liked: Back to basics field for camping. Very quiet and could pitch up anywhere we liked! Fantastic views over Swanage bay. Easy check in and check out and basically left to it. Great place for our rescue dogs first holiday as dog walkers using the field were very respectful and gave us space. Lovely hot showers which are included unlike some sites where you have to pay a little extra. Loads to do around the local area.

Disliked: Could do with warm water for washing dishes and somewhere to freeze ice blocks. A movement sensor light outside shower block would be helpful when it’s pitch black

Liked: Lovely view of swanage, big field with lots of space between tents. No specific pitches which is great for choosing your spot. Nice walk to swanage. Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly.

Disliked: Only cold water for washing up and not covered for when it's raining.

Liked: Campsite has beautiful view. Easily accessible by foot from Wareham train station. The shower room was alright. Not far from shops

Disliked: The shower room locked could be fixed as my daughter find it really hard to lock and unlock.
