Stayed in lodge 9. We received a warm welcome.
Excellent location with lovely walks to nearby village, pubs or into Lewes.
Lodge was well stocked with everything you need including salt, pepper and basic cleaning bits such as washing up liquid.
Hot tub fantastic with a great views.
We had a five star stay and will be booking to go back soon.

3rd time here and the views still take our breath away. Perfect lodges, perfect location and perfect weekend away. 4th trip was booked before we left! The lodges have everything you need and are really comfortable. We do a lot of hot tub breaks and this is by far our favourite place

Lodges are simply amazing. Every little detail catered for....to treats gorcthe dog. Essentials in fridge, kutchen favilities. The lidges were immaculate. Amazing views...stunning location. Hot tub fantastic snd checked daily. Small shop for essentials. ||Very enjoyable stay booked again

I had a very relaxing stay in lodge No 5. The lodge was spotless, welcome pack was lovely and the book with instructions was very clear on how heating, hot tub etc operated. Fast Wi-fi in the lodge too. The surroundings are lovely and it's so peaceful. I stayed in mid December and the little touch of a Christmas tree in the lodge show the attention to detail. The hot tub was a little slice of heaven! Reception staff went above and beyond for a little issue in the lodge and I really appreciate all they did, including the contact with me after my stay. I will, without a doubt, be booking to stay again.

Excellent lodges all facilities included with a nice welcome pack. Staff are very nice and helpful. Great views of the South Downs, close to Lewes. Pubs and restaurants nearby. BBQ and hot tub and dog friendly. Had a wonderful time here. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 7 nights and it was fantastic! We have stayed in quite a few different lodges but we both thought this one was by far the best one. From the moment you stepped into the lodge it felt luxurious. The furniture, super king bed, bathroom, kitchen and of course the amazing views. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and very generous. The kitchen had everything you would need. A book is provided in the lodge which was a brilliant help as it listed all important information that you may need e.g. nearest supermarkets, local walks, days out etc. The hot tub was lovely and had amazing views looking out.|There are some lovely walks local to the lodge, the walk into Lewes is about 1hr but a nice, peaceful walk into a lovely town.|Caroline and her team were so welcoming, helpful and friendly.|We have already rebooked for December 2025 and cannot wait to come back.|Highly recommend!

Incredible setting! Stunning views! Amazing facilities! ||We have just spent New Year at Swanborough Lakes and we have already booked again for next year! ||We were so impressed from the minute we arrived. The lady at the check in reception was extremely friendly. We opened up the lodge door to see breathtaking views across the valley and lakes. Opened up the fridge to find a welcome pack of goodies and a bottle of Prosecco! Assume this was for new year but was a lovely touch! ||The lodge itself was beautiful. We arranged prior to have one room as a twin set up, which was no trouble at all. The beds were really comfortable and the rooms were really spacious. Lots of storage space and extra pillows and blankets in the cupboard. Dressing gowns were supplied for both rooms. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, the toiletries supplied were all Ritual and really lovely! ||The shower was lush - really powerful! ||We had everything we needed in the kitchen, cleaning products and kitchen towels were all supplied. ||The outside space was gorgeous - we didn’t feel overlooked at all. And the hot tub….lush!! Was the perfect temperature when we arrived so we jumped straight in! And the views were outstanding. ||The location is perfect to spend time in both Lewes town and Brighton is not too far of a drive. ||We have been to a few lodge holidays and this one was by far our favourite! We honestly didn’t want to leave - our 6 year old cried when we had to! ||We are really looking forward to coming back soon!

We had a lovely short break. We were allocated lodge 1 which is right by the entrance but probably has the best view. We didn't have any trees in front of us and, at night, we had a lovely view of Lewes Castle from our hot tub. |The lodge was just beautiful and finished to a very high standard. It has been very well looked after too. Everything was there for us to enjoy our stay. |We visited Lewes, Newhaven, Beachy Head, Brighton, Hastings and Eastbourne.|We would definitely recommend this place and we will probably be back.
