Luton Road is known locally as the worst Road in the whole of Medway. Drive down it too often for my liking totally unaware there is a B&B along there. Read the other reviews not surprised one bit. Also no parking unless you use a side road. I'm going to make a point of looking for it next time I'm down that way. Bet its just like the other houses down there, old.

5 of us were supposed to be staying here to attend a friend's wedding. We booked 5 months in advance and paid up front. An extremely rude woman called me on the day we were due to check in and literally screamed down the phone that they had double booked and couldn't accommodate us. Her behaviour was outrageous, she tried to tell me that she could cram 5 of us in a single room then she cancelled my reservation. When I demanded a full refund she hung up. I would rather sleep in the street than stay here. I hope this place goes out of business so they can't steal from anyone else

DO NOT BOOK HERE! My friend was due to stay here but we did not even make it to the Room.
On arrival, there is no sign on the building, no one to greet you, it smelt and looked very unkempt from what we could tell in the hallway dimly lit only because of the street lights. We called the lady who the booking was originally made with and she said someone would be there soon to give us a key and then the very next question was to ask for a £20 deposit. By this time all confidence in this potential stay was 0% and so questioned what justified the £20 and her appalling response was.... 'you Nigerians' which I am not by the way and so there ended the conversation when I disconnected the call and left the filthy building immediately and got alternative accommodation.

The double room I had (£30) and the single room my friend had (£20) had a TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a bed. All were in good order. The communal bathroom is insufficient for the numbers staying. Here ends the review of a place that clarifies the expression 'you get what you pay for.' ||The Guesthouse has no signs outside and we too had huge problems with the key box outside. At no stage did we ever see the owner / manager. The street is is in is a major route with all the noise you would expect. I am also saddened by the scruffy nature of the road. We had cycles that we could take into the house, there is no way I would have wanted to leave a car in the locality.||The owners are not responsible for the location and as they provided a room for the night at a very low price {as contracted}) I have given three stars, BUT this is little more than a Bunkhouse.

Needed somewhere to crash, as needed to be in Hempstead first thing in the morning. Paid £30 for the room, which had a double bed, TV etc and use of a shared bathroom. |Entering the property was like the Krypton Factor - keys were in a key safe outside. Once you'd got your bunch, you the had to negotiate two sets of French style patio doors, playing guess the key, and then lock then securely behind you!|I arrived late, so this may have been different if you arrive during the day!|However it felt like this kind of security was needed!! Didn't feel like the nicest part of town!|The place itself is a run down place in amongst terrace houses- I couldn't see any signage whatsoever so it was a little hard to find the place late at night.|The room itself was fine, there was a kettle on the floor, with a jug of filtered water, and tea facilities. Towel, and shower toiletries were also in the room. Bed was fine - but I can sleep like a log anywhere!!|However, overall, for the price it was all OK if you need somewhere to sleep on a budget.

Avoid at all costs. Booked 1 family double and 1 single room before Christmas and they waited 5 months to call me on the day I was due to check in to inform me that they didn't have any rooms. The woman who called me, bearing in mind THEY were the ones who double booked, SCREAMED down the phone at me as if it was my fault. First she wanted to cram 5 of us into a single room then she cancelled my reservation and refused to sort out my refund. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Booked for 2 nights but 1 was enough! Banging doors all night, rude movement noises at 530am! Never got to see the owner, just a cleaner. Room very basic and broken but fairly clean. £45 a night it's not worth it. Room was unsecure because they had broke the locks from the sliding glass doors! Shared bathroom was disgusting! Location is bad anyway

Phoned up to cancel booking for two rooms due to unforeseen circumstances. I explained this and they were very rude. I asked if there was a possibility of a refund and they then hung up on me. I called again and they proceeded to shout and swear at me. I was obviously very angry by this especially considering recent events and after gently reminding him not to speak to me like that, he hung up on me. My cousin then phoned up on my behalf to confirm the cancellation where he only asked questions rather then actually answer them and help us with our queries.|This once again was a very short phone call. At around half 10 in the morning, my mother received a call saying ‘are you actually coming or what’ with a lot of attitude. My stepmom again asked about a refund and they said that it wasn’t their problem. Again they were very rude and then hung up. This absolutely disgusting customer service and I would never book to stay here again.
