Think of this as a vegan taco speakeasy. 🌮🇲🇽🪅🌱

Tucked away, this awesome stealth spot blew our minds. The nachos were so good we went back and ordered seconds. Run don't walk to Tacos and Flipflops.

This little gem is tucked away in an industrial unit but under no circumstances let that put you off. Stepping in you're immediately transported to taco heaven. The decor is fantastic and the music and atmosphere sublime. Oh and then there's the food. THE food. One taste and you'll know that these folks are well versed in authentic flavours. There is a passion for what they are doing that is reflected in the quality of the food. It is honestly amazing. Yes the menu is all vegan but having visited recently with some meat eating work colleagues, they found it hard to believe that what they were eating was all plant based. The best nachos I've ever eaten, the best tacos and the Chimmichanga's, oh my god those Chimmichanga's! Out of this world AND a proper independent small Peterborough business.

At 43 I’ve eaten a lot of food in my life. It’s probably my most consistent hobby so I feel qualified to say that the Burritos at Tacos and Flip Flops are quite possibly the best thing I’ve ever eaten. The tacos are delightful, the nachos amazing, the restaurant the most welcoming place on earth, it’s dog friendly and people friendly and then there’s Pete and Lynn and the Taco Team - the best people.

Whilst you’re there take a look at Here We Aren’t next door. A small independent creative space for musicians, poets, DJs and artists.

Who’d have thought an industrial estate in Peterborough could bring so much joy.

Dog friendly with tasty vegan food can't go wrong. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I tried the vegan brownie too which was incredible and gooey will definitely be returning in the future.

If you want the happiest service and the best tasting food, you must try Tacos & Flipflops! A lovely couple’s dream to set up a fun and colourful food place with delicious and fresh tacos, nachos, burritos and more!! You’ll never know it’s all vegan - I’m not one and I rave about their food! The place is very relaxed with a variety of seating and fun music playing! Come, relax and grab a bite to eat or you can also take away / have it delivered too!! I recommend the Nachos and Aji Chickn 😋😋😋😋 Dogs are also very welcome 🐶

This is one of peterboroughs little hidden gems, beautiful food , great atmosphere and when eating in Pete and Lynn make you very welcome , definitely a must try when in town. Dog friendly too . 😍
