I don't recommend this HALAL shop. Stay away if you can. The meat quality is poor and the butcher doesn't care about hygiene. Using the label "halal" to sell items is misleading. Halal is not only about the way animals are slaughtered but also about cleanliness and quality. Bring shame to the Muslim community. Once, I saw the butcher picking his nose and ear while cutting my chicken.

I stored the chicken in my freezer after buying it last Monday, but when I tried to cook it, the chicken was rubbery, tough and couldn't be peeled off the bone. I thought it might have been my cooking, so I tried boiling it for 2nd time, but the results were the same. I wasted two bags of chicken trying to figure out what was wrong.

Today, on the 25th of February 2024, I returned with the chicken to the store and explained the situation to the staff at the counter. However, they were defensive and tried to blame me instead of understanding the customer's situation. I'm glad no one in the family has tried the chicken yet because I'm scared it might have a disease or some other issue. The authorities should visit this store once in a while to ensure they're maintaining the quality of their products and not selling expired items.
