We had the best time at the Talbooth hotel and spa. The staff were amazing and could not do enough for you, the spa was great I had three treatments and they were all done to a high standard. The pool was lovely and well maintained, we enjoyed having hot chocolate in the outdoor snug, by the roaring fire. The room was amazing, we had the Shakespeare room, the turndown service was appreciated. It was the little things that made a big difference, like the car ride to the Talbooth restaurant for dinner. Thank you to all the staff at the Talbooth for a great experience, we will not forget it.

Excellent stay on Friday night for the summer BBQ event. The house is lovely and our room was great. We chose to have the breakfast in bed the following morning and loved it.||The spa was great and we used it both in the afternoon on the Friday and Saturday morning to recover from the previous evenings booze. ||Would defiantly stay again.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location - we were attending a family wedding and were staying overnight at the hotel. Lovely bedroom, comfy bed, clean bathroom and a beautiful outdoor pool to soak in afterwards. Food was great, bar was well stocked, couldn't ask for anything more. Brilliant.

I was left really disappointed after my visit to Talbooth Spa end of August. |Myself and a friend visited specifically for the heated pool as she has MS and the heated water helps with this. |Sadly, the facilities were not up to the standard you would expect from a high end spa and for the cost.|The sauna had not been switched on, and never got to a temperate over 60 degrees the whole day. |The swimming pool was luke warm and not heated. We did ask the staff who explained it was because of the wind, but I have visited other spas with outdoor pools in a lot colder conditions and they have been hot. Perhaps the pool needs a cover? |For the money you pay, and the time you spend outside as there is only a small indoor seating area, you would expect the outside facilities to be above warm, preferably hot (especially a sauna).|We had a great arrival and high hopes, but sadly this really let the whole day down.|All the other reviews are positive so maybe we just got unlucky the day we went!

Stayed for one night in the most luxurious hotel and beautiful countryside
The hotel and spa were just wonderful but what made it so special was the hotel staff who looked after us and made sure we were happy with everything
From the drinks on arrival, tea in the afternoon, maps for our walks and changing our dinner arrangements, nothing was too much
I can honestly say this was the best customer service we have received and cannot recommend this hotel highly enough

Amazing stay at the hotel. Everyone was lovely and welcoming. The Spa is wonderful to relax between walks or activities on the Stour river. I strongly recommend. We have had a relaxing and wonderful weekend there.

All in all a really fantastic weekend stay. ||We stayed in the Browning room with our two small dogs who loved their little break away too. ||Rooms, setting, staff, food all excellent. What makes it extra special is the extra mile all of the staff go, nothing was too much trouble. ||I remarked to my partner how relaxed I felt here and we are seriously considering booking our wedding here due to outstanding service. ||The spa is limited but this was not an issue for us as it wasn’t our main focus of the trip. ||Views are great and our dogs loved the short walks we took them on. It’s the small touches such as the room booklet, Elemis products and driver service are nice little additions. ||We will be booking again-even the doggies faces looked sad when we left!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!VIEWS, ATMOSPHERE & all the staff,I can't even start to describe them.Had a wedding there on the weekend & boy was it a place to remember.I've been to 3 & 4 star venues but I think this venue deserves a 5 *.I take my hat off to all the staff,working from the morning till nearly midnight and didn't show any signs of giving up.So much so,my wife & I asked for a cup of tea & we had it bought out to us without any hesitation!Loved every bit of it & I would recommend this venue for anyone!?
