Called in for a drink after a day out in the area. Range of beers and whisky was a little disappointing, but you will find something to satisfy your thirst. Super friendly guy behind the bar who made us feel very welcome. Lovely seating area with clean and fresh decor and a relaxed feel to the place. Reasonable prices too, especially for a hotel.

My family and I stayed here for one night on our way back down from Skye. The lady who checked us in was so friendly and welcoming. I didn't get her name but she is a real asset to the hotel. Also a big shout out to the guy who was working the bar/restaurant area. He took his time to engage with the guests. Rooms are basic but spotlessly clean. Perfect after a long drive. Breakfast was very tasty and the views over Loch Lomond were just stunning. I'll definitely be back.

Where to start firstly the staff all of them from manageress down to the cleaners were absolutely fantastic helpful, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is 200 years old and looks it . The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The room looks like it's been furnished my Ikia, all flat pack rubbishThat's it bathroom was so small toilet crammed in between wall and shower the shower as an 9 inch step to get into it. I did tell them when booking I was disabled. A small lift only holds 2 . 6 steps down to dinning room. In other words absolutely no good for disabled. The food was bog standard cafe food. Breakfast cold greasy. Sandwiches good . Menue same all the time no proper meals. These new owners have killed it. And for this I payed for a superior room. Disgusted not worth half the amount I paid. Been in better B&Bs for a third of the price. The staff did their best its not their fault can't praise them enough

I travel a lot and have never taken the time to write a review before today. However, I am making an exception here because I recently stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions and both times I was amazed to find staff who really care. What an absolute joy! On top of this, I travel with my Service dog and on both occasions they were kind enough to carry my massive dog crate from my car into my hotel room - which made a huge difference to me. Thank you so much - I will be returning twice a year from now on!!!

A one night night stay on our travels to Isle of Skye. Overall it was a lovely friendly hotel. The receptionist was welcoming and informative of our stay and as we had our little dog with us she advised us where we could eat within the restaurant. Our room was basic, bit dated but clean and we had a view of Loch Lomond. Our room was located to the back of the hotel which meant a bit of a walk through the hotel to take our dog out for late night/early morning toilet visit, but also meant it was very quiet.|The evening meal was very enjoyable and the waiter was very attentive due to allergies. The breakfast was continental and full English. Their was a good choice of both. Loch Lomond is seen from the hotel, this was a lovely hotel in a beautiful location, we would definitely go back!

Exterior is very impressive and great location overlooking Loch Lomond. Lots of classic wood furnishings inside. Room wasn’t bad - smallish but very comfortable bed, loch view and an excellent smart TV. Bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade - even adding some shelf space would be an improvement. Music volume needs to be turned down a bit at breakfast. Overall this could be great but needs a bit of TLC
