We finished our holiday with a meal at the ferryman on Sunday 29th June.|We were met by a very friendly young lady who told us what was missing from the venue etc. she told us she had only been with you for a week but we found her to be very pleasant very professional and knowledgeable regarding the menus. She was very attentive thought our stay and would like to say well done you have an assertive your business thank you to her and the really lovely meal we had. Stayed in a houseboat for 2 days . Was absolute bliss. Amazing amenities in the boat. Best nights sleep in soo long! Went with long time friend , used got boat and wild swimming dips in between sessions. And also got box spa at sunset. Dinner in the restaurant also knock out with seafood platter outstanding!

We were in Kenmore for 2 nights and ate at the Ferrymans both nights. Excellent food. Lovely atmosphere and really friendly staff! |They do a lovely selection of cocktails and beers too. Just such a lovely relaxing place with spectacular views. Our go to place in Kenmore.

We ate here while on holiday in the area. This promised so much with the beautiful location and resort. Unfortunately that’s the highlight of our evening. We were seated in a very cramped area with no space or privacy at all. Every time anyone walked past they were literally nearly on my lap. The seats are too high with no comfort for eating. Our starters came out quickly and were tasty but the main meals were extremely disappointing. My partners steak was tough and hardly there at all. My mushroom and feta burger was nothing special with hardly any feta . The place is relying on the views but needs a more varied menu and a really good manager to front the restaurant.

We had visited the Ferryman’s in for dinner as part of our engagement celebrations but unfortunately there wasn’t much to celebrate. The food was below par for such a well established venue, this is why we left our visit to the last day of our break. My partners fish and chips was oily to the point she couldn’t eat it and the focaccia we were sharing was still cold in the middle like it hadn’t been frozen prior to cooking. As it was pet friendly we took our dog along with us but where we had been sat was very awkward and didn’t have much room for us and other guests, we wrote in the note when we booked we didn’t mind where we were going to be sat and on arrival the terrace had a lot more space. It’s only saving grace was the staff who were all lovely.

Beautiful place this is my third time and will be back, so peaceful and relaxing with great facilities and stunning views. Staff are great, food and drinks are great quality. Great way to spend 2 hours away with my man just relaxing plus the weather was glorious

Lovely setting with great views of loch Tay even though weather not kind and canopy was enclosed due to rain and winds. Disappointed as they had run out of quite a few items and the comment was we have had a busy weekend. It was only Sunday! Still the weekend. When my husband asked for chips instead of potatoes with his roast he was told they weren’t allowed to do that!! Bar staff lovely very chatty and welcoming. Waiting staff could do with more training in customer care.

We used to love it here when it was the original management. But today was a worrying portent that it could be ruined.
Spur of the moment we turned up at 4.45 before the kitchen opens at 5. Place is empty but most if not all tables are reserved. Asked if we could get a quick turn around for a bite, but told by the person in charge that the kitchens at capacity. Cant even do a take away. Loads of unreserved tables out side for a drink but the kitchen cant handle a few extra covers? Wed have been in and away before the vast majority of the other tables had arrived. No initiative shown by the person in charge but then he didn’t seem at all interested in the service aspect. Very poor service and such a huge differnce from previous experiences.
Ive now got the feeling that the normal scottish service attitude is taking a hold.
I hope that this is a one off and that there will be an intervention and some training to
