Absolutely love this place. Have been a fair few times now and every-time I love it, the staff has always been fab, the afternoon tea is so great and has plenty of options. It is a small place but we’ve never had much struggle getting a table. I highly recommend this cafe!

We love to visit here for a light lunch, brunch or even just a cup of tea. Service is always excellent and the food is nicely prepared. They usually have some very nice homemade cakes. It's often busy so worth booking in advance, especially with a larger group.

Possibly the best afternoon tea I’ve had.
My daughter and I booked a special afternoon tea treat for my mum, we arrived with my 13month old grandson and it was a lovely experience from start to finish.
The sandwiches were fresh and delicious (we were asked which flavour we’d like when booking) the scones were still warm from the oven and although we were all too full to eat the great selection of home baked cakes and macaroons we had them boxed to take away and my husband assured me they were delicious also.
Highly recommend this lovely tea shop and we’ll certainly be back.

Took my Mum for their Special tea advertised for £22.00. The quality of their tea was very good, the food is fresh. In my opinion the selection of sandwiches was so boring, the cake were as boring and although service was very good I left feeling underwhelmed by the experience because I wanted something different and special for a birthday treat. I really think the chef needs to skill up to current standards expected.

Traditional service with politeness, high attention to detail, and honest food at honest prices. In our experience, and we have been to a LOT of places across all price ranges, this is a real gem.
Just be honest about what you're looking for as if you want Waddesdon Manor level afternoon tea, for example, then you won't get that but then nor will you pay that sort of price. The standard of what you get, however, will be excellent.

A beautiful tea room with a vintage feel. The owners are attentive without being intrusive and the food is beautiful. The afternoon tea does need to be pre-booked as it is all made fresh; the scones were still warm from the oven! Highly recommended and we will definitely be returning.

What a little gem! It was busy but they found us a table quickly. Staff are attentive and nothing too much trouble. We both had the simple afternoon tea which is a sandwich with salad/crisps and a scone with jam/clotted cream plus a drink. We asked for our sandwiches to be toasted and it was no trouble. Absolutely delicious - especially the warm scones! All served on a lovely cake stand. Both of us managed three cups of tea each from our teapots - all for £10 each! Will definitely visit again. The only point I'd make is the chairs need cushions on as they were a bit uncomfortable - but it won't stop us returning very soon. ?

Lovely friendly staff. Clean and airy room. We ordered 4 simple afternoon teas, we had a choice of sandwiches and drinks, then huge, warm scones with jam and fresh cream. Everything was delicious. I will definitely return to this wonderful tearoom
