Often pop in for either a sandwich and a cuppa. Nice selection of reasonably priced cakes and the fresh bread buns and bread loaves are all lovely. I find it bad that if you want to sit in and eat a cake etc they charge quite a bit extra .
It's quite sad to see the ladies are completely understaffed as the ladies work hard to meet your needs but are totally run ragged. Especially when there's only one member of staff there. I've never seen staff members so over run with duties. They definitely need more staff to help.out

Atmosphere felt dull and outdated . Very uninviting. The staff were ok in service but the food itself was unsatisfactory apart from the beans they tasted fine . The sausage was dry and had a weird taste . Bacon u could use as a shoe soul and tea that was ment to be a coffee also I find.it a bit odd that it has a sitting area that isn't even set up to be a sitting area no menus on tables or cutlery etc

When I first moved to this area 6 years ago, this place was lovely and did really great afternoon teas at a great price. At some point the shop manager changed and it has done nothing but go downhill and the Friday £5 breakfast is a joke, overcooked and cold, no atmosphere and staff you don't feel like you can raise issues with when they've come all the way upstairs!!

Sandwiches not as described on board , BEST is described as 2 bacon ....you don't get two full bacon slices and the sausage is a chipolata. For the price charged I won't be going back!!!

Lovely and clean in both the cafe and customer toilet. Fresh sandwiches, I had bacon and egg and my husband had sausage and egg. Both lovely washed down with a cup of tea. Friendly staff. We will visit again soon.

Nice traditional bakery/cafe. Excellent food, at great prices, and the staff are lovely.

Usually get a breakfast when I sit in, but the sandwiches and rolls are freshly made and very good. The Lincolnshire sausage rolls are amazing, and I'll normally grab some of those to go, if they have any left.
