The best Arabic cakes and sweets in Brighton, basboussa and mahmoul, Baklava and of course my favourite Mohalibeah (rice pudding) and they have a large selection for everyone, all freshly baked and ready for you! also you need to try the chocolate Oreo cake because it's amazing..! the staff are brilliant and very welcoming and hard workers and they deserve respect..!! I highly recommend to everyone to get down there and start ordering, you won't regret it.

Been here a few times and the sweets are good.

However, last time when I asked for 1kg I was palmed off with a ready made plate. I specifically mentioned I was looking for some fresh because it was for somebody else but the old boy just did what was good for him. They were old and dry. Not happy.

This time I asked the young lad with the poliezi t-shirt for 1kg and I pointed out which ones I wanted. Instead of keeping it to 1kg he was just adding more. I was like ‘isn’t it already 1kg’ he was like ‘maybe’. So watch out because they will entrap you for more than you want and you may feel embarrassed and looked down upon when asking to reduce the plate. Also, there was a lady playing with a young toddler rather than serving us. My family and I was standing around waiting for someone to serve us. Eventually the chap came out from the back and served us. He didn’t seem too happy about that. We bought a plate which should’ve been £20 as it’s £20 per kg. Luckily I stopped the guy when I did because we ended up paying £23 in the end - could’ve easily been more.

So as a business owner in Brighton my humble request would be that you work on your service because it’s lacking. Although your sweets are very good and speak for itself - if the service is slacking then you will lose business.

Very good sweets and regardless of bad experience we will keep coming to you. We are originally from London so we are used to Gaziantep in London. We recognise quality when we come across it.

The service was outstanding, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who made our visit enjoyable. Such nice people , great customer service and the baklava is to die for. I never really liked baklava until I tried teba sweets, now I crave it. Today the lady gave me a taster for their new baklava, it's just perfection!!

The baklava and sweet treats from Teba Sweetland are divine and truly delicious. I have so much respect for their vegan range, it tastes just as good as traditionally crafted baklava. The service is fantastic and the staff will happily create a beautiful plate for you using the baklava of your choice - perfect with a cuppa, for special occasions or after dinner dessert. If you're in a rush you can buy a platter ready-made. You also pay by the weight which means it's very affordable compared to the usual baked goods available in Brighton and Hove. The range is always expanding and there is always something new to try. Every person I know who has tried this baklava adores it. The halva tahini biscuits are also amazing (vegan). We all enjoy them with coffee or mint tea. Highly recommended.
