We recently had our wedding here and want to say how fantastic it was we had the most amazing day. Hannah and Emily in particular were outstanding and attentive nothing was too much trouble. There were a lot of our family staying for our wedding and loved every minute of it. The staff on our wedding were wonderful and joined in with our guests making it even more special. We have to give a very special thank you to Lee and the chefs as our wedding breakfast was delicious and presented so well. Have to say was the best meal we have had out at any restaurant. Well done team to you all for making our day spectacular from arrival to the rooms, breakfast and everything in between. Highly recommend to anyone one planning a wedding. We recently got married at the Admiral Rodney Hotel, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! From start to finish, everything was flawless. The staff were incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly, going above and beyond to make our special day truly unforgettable. Living in Lincoln this is a place I’ve been past loads but never been to- but we were attending a party nearby so this was our chance. |We stayed for one night, and paid a very fair price. We didn’t book breakfast. The room was smart, clean and well equipped. |The only negative in the room was the sheets didn’t seem to be big enough so they came untucked with the slightest movement. |Bar area is really nice, staff good and prices reasonable. Car park is free and a good size. |We arrived an hour before check in and knew we wouldn’t be able to check in however we wanted to ask about leaving our car and bags. However reception was unstaffed and had no bell so we were just left standing, which isn’t the best of welcomes- you need at least a sign up so we knew what to do. ||Other than this minor points we were pretty happy.

We visited for a birthday, making use of Winter Escape deal and were very surprised and pleased with the offer. We upgraded the room, had a two course meal off the a la carte menu (without any restriction), a bottle of wine and breakfast. Everything was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bed huge, all the food was of a very high standard. As it coincided with Valentines Night the hotel was very busy. The car park is large and FREE.

Perfect 🤩 can’t ask for more. We had booked the superior room but then decided to bring the dog along. The Rodney accommodated perfectly with a different room with a dogs bed & bowl & a little welcome sign. The room was a lovely size, very comfortable & well equipped. The addition on a nice DAB radio was a lovely touch. Location in the heart of Horncastle is great with lots of parking to the rear of the hotel. The restaurant & bar is a lovely welcoming space & all staff members were very friendly, welcoming& helpful. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

This is the third hotel we have stayed in with this chain and sadly it was a bit of a mixed bag. While the room rate for two nights was good value, there is a level of cleanliness and maintenance you expect no matter the price. There were marks on some of the bed linen, the toilet wasn't clean, there was dust on some of the surfaces, the WiFi kept cutting out and the window frames were full of damp. On the plus side, Jenny on reception was lovely, the meal in the restaurant was good value and tasty and the room was large, quiet, with plenty of refreshments and biscuits.

One night here to visit friends. £85 for a good size family room, one double two singles and a cot with pristine linen. Great came for money. ||Yes, there are some corridors, some areas of the room that could do with a little bit of attention but everywhere was clean. Shower was hot but not very powerful and had I curtain, which I personally, hate. ||The breakfast was not only delicious but reasonably priced, lovely dining area and helpful staff. ||If you do take a family room, it might be worth noting that there is a lively pub next door that sometimes has live music until 11pm, yes you can hear it, is it the hotels fault, no, did it make a difference to us, no. Would I stay here again, yes.
