Great B&B and perfect for working for NHS in area. Rooms always very clean and great size all with double bed, en-suite, microwave & fridge, unlike some similar B&B’s in area. Great price and hosts always very welcoming and accommodating.

I needed a bed for the night at a sensible price. I was attracted to this hotel as it is central and had free parking which most hotels in Gloucester can't offer. My room was clean and comfortable and very quiet. Breakfast good and internet free. Nice little bar for a cosy atmosphere too. Some guests are smoking somewhere - I could smell it in the corridors. All in all, functional and friendly. Only one complaint was that the TV was installed so high up I couldn't get it into focus and it had a poor signal.

We were directed to this B&B by the Tourist office after spending a whole day visiting the Cathedral and other attractions close by. The owner was there to greet us as we drove into the car park located at the back of the bulding. Leading us through the back entrance she gave us a quick update of the breakfast schedule etc and after registering, we were led upstairs to our room.||The room overlooking the car park is large, clean and the sheets were clean too, There is a lot of built in storage space. Furnishings are kept to the bare minimum and a small tv is propped on a table by the wall.||The ensuite is the smallest I have ever come across. A sliding door separates the bedroom from the bathroom. As soon as you step in you just have to turn on the spot to access the sink, the toilet and the shower which are all at arms length. The shower Is not very strong. The ensuite was clean and only soap and towels were provided.||That evening we brought in takeaway and the owner was gracious enough to provide us with cutlery and plates. When we retired for the night we found the mattress to be too thin and you could feel the springs. However we slept soundly as we were tired after a full day of walking.||Breakfast the next morning was down at the basement and the room shares space with a very large bar counter. It looked like we were the only guests. The meal was satisfactory. ||We felt that the price we paid was a little too high for the type of accommodation provided. I would rate this B&B as a budget accommodation.

I have stayed at The Albert now about 8 or 9 times and have found the rooms and bathrooms exceptionally clean on every visit. The decor is light and modern and there is Free parking and free Wifi which is a bonus. Breakfast is available from 7am onwards so suits me fine.||||The Hotel is ideally located towards the centre of town but the surrounding area seems fairly quiet at night so no disturbances to my beauty sleep.||||The owners are very friendly and helpful and I'm sure I'll be staying again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Very central to the city, beautiful rooms and extremely clean. breakfast was superb and the proprietors extremely friendly and funny. Excellent value for money and far more character than bigger chain hotels. Will definitely stay again and heartily recommend.

My family have stayed at this wonderful hotel just a few weeks ago. The hotel is in a wonderful place, close to the city centre and has wonderful hosts. The rooms were clean and tidy, shiny bathrooms! They have never met such welcoming and warm hosts in any other hotel. We highly recommend this hotel to all who are planning to visit beautiful Gloucester. Thank you.

Stayed here a few times. Always have a warm welcome from the owners of the hotel. Clean rooms and close to the town centre. Perfect place to stay when cheltenham races are on as very close to the train station too! |Would highly recommend!

Room was good size. Bed not very comfortable. No comments on food coz i didn't have any. Could hear noise from outside which made it hard to sleep. Host was nice and friendly. Parking is available but not easy to park behind the hotel.
