We arrived on a Saturday to a lovely warm welcome. The bar was busy with families but we couldn't hear anything from our room. Our room was big enough and had everything we needed, it was spotless, as was the rest of the building (cleaner than a lot of higher prices places we've stayed at!) very comfy bed with crisp white bedding. We had food in the bar in the evening and breakfast that was delicious and great value. Overall a fantastic little find

Excellent in every respect. Perfect location for a stop over as very close to the town centre, which I have to say is delightful. The room was spotlessly clean and the ensuite was of a high standard....not always the case!! We ate dinner which was certainly a few notches above pub grub and very reasonably priced as was the breakfast. The staff were all very friendly & welcoming.|Altogether a very pleasant stay which will be repeated next time we are in the area.

The food is fine and so is the beer .A very friendly inn with great locals and had a new years eve party with disco and live band. left to go to Butlins and now home, should be in the Alcester Inn now

The band I'm in played at the venue 30/11/2024. Friends and family came to support us from Manchester and York. Including myself we all booked rooms for the night. All the feedback was the locals are really friendly, staff brilliant, rooms great and bed was comfortable and the food was amazing and at a great price. Not a bad word to say. Hopefully we will see you all again in the near future

There is a very large car park with ample room to park overnight. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. They explained about breakfast times and how to checkout if leaving early. They explained the keys for the room and main front door including the opening hours, they said to ask if there was anything else we wanted to know. We chose our table, there are many! We then ordered our dinner at the bar, the food was quick to come and looked and tasted great and were good size portions. There was a very good choice of food, catering to everyones tastes and diets. There is a pool table, along with a dart board and many large screen TV's showing the news and sky sports on mute. They also had music playing. It was a very nice atmosphere with friendly regulars and visitors. The beds were very comfortable and the twin room (no. 5) was a good size. There was also a wall heater to take the chill out of the room if needed. The shower was very powerful and as it was a corner cubicle it was very large inside. It was very quiet overnight so we had a good restful night's sleep. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice as well as decaf coffee and oat or coconut milk if looking for an alternative to dairy.

The room when we first entered felt a bit cold and damp. There wasn't anywhere to put toiletries in the shower or indeed the shower room. I ended up with a wet bag as I placed it on the floor and this ended up wet after I showered, I'm not sure how but I don't think it was from any spray coming through the cubicle as the floor elsewhere was dry, but there was a small puddle under the bag to the left of the cubicle. The plumbing was quite noisy as we could hear our toilet make a flush sound occasionally I assume when the next room were flushing their loo. It was a shame the TV didn't have any apps like Netflix or Disney as I wanted to log in to our account and watch a film but there were no apps. It wasn't the end of the world and we found something to watch instead. Also worth noting although they had other fruit juices there wasn't any apple juice.
