Where to start. Well its cheap for a reason. Rooms dirty. Shower disgusting had to wash it out before we used it. One thin pillow like sleeping on a wafer.two sharing and had to shuffle past each other just to get round the room. . Rooms damp. Very small heater in the room just to make it feel dryer. Spoke to a few guests and they said the same. Decor very dated and in need of updating. Breakfast very poor. Undercooked. |How people rate this hotel as good are very easily pleased. I have stayed in some bad ones and this is definitely up there with them. Had a kettle in the room. No cups or drinks facilities |Hair dryer in the room but the mirror was at the other end of the room. Fortunately I don’t need to use one.

Staff and services are top-notch 👌.
John was very kind.
Rooms have a very Victorian era feel. Ensuite washrooms are retro fitted and hence a little congested.
Breakfast served is very sumptuous and tasty.
Their common seating area and the dining room overlooking the ocean in the distance makes quite a setting.

Very nice, very clean and my school went there, the owner was Super kind and the food was excellent 👌🏼, great location right next to the beach and has a massive garden. Highly recommend!!

it stank it was screws down the toilet and i am supprised that i am not dead. Me and my mate went to the beach and because it was sand in the shower he would not let us go again and chucked our cloths outside with no room to think. Would never recommend it. With rudeness from the staff but the breakfast was good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

female workers were very kind, they were generous with the breakfast food and the rooms were clean. however the rooms are cramped with childish-like bedding and a broken toilet door. in a different room it was so hot because the window was so small. furthermore they don’t offer delivery takeaway or shower gel. the hotel is located on a hill so to get to the beach means you have to walk up and down very big hills.

The only good thing about the stay was the cup of tea at breakfast,Everything else absolutely shocking, will definitely not be returning. Unkempt and needs drastically updating .also very noisy.I’d rather take my chances at Bates motel!

Ignore the negatives. Yes it’s dated but it’s been about for a long time. Check in at the right time and don’t be late for breakfast and you’re golden. John is kind, generous and very accommodating. The hotel is budget friendly and in a great location-and I do mean great location! Love the breakfast and the service is brilliant. Always a good nights sleep. The kids love it here with the size of the garden, the trampoline and John is very nice to them. Sometimes he is under a lot of pressure and it’s understandable why he gets annoyed with people. Read the reviews-“I read the reviews so wasn’t expecting much”….don’t complain then! 😂

John was an excellent host. And helped us with various activities as where to go for the day etc. Breakfast was enjoyable 😉 Room was what I'd expect from a 2-Star hotel 🏨.

Our stay was perfect and looking forward to coming again
