My wife and I stayed at the Alverbank hotel and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially Evan who was really nice, attentive and polite. We had a meal at the hotel, which was delicious and decent portions. The breakfast was lovely too. We stayed in a room with a sea view and a roll top bath. It was so nice to see that view while relaxing in the bath. Waking up the next morning with that wonderful view was so worth it too. The bed was so comfortable and the local area called Stanley Park was really nice to walk around too as well as the beach, only a minutes walk from the hotel. Can't recommend this place enough. Will definitely be back. A fantastic venue for a party or wedding too, we could not fault it.

Went to the most perfect wedding here yesterday ! The setting by the beach is totally perfect and it’s a day I’ll remember forever.
From the minute I stepped into the hotel I was greeted by the most loveliest hosts who showed me the bar and where to place the wedding gift. The whole day went like clockwork and a huge shout to the lovely lovely Claire who worked so so hard to make sure everyone had an amazing day, nothing was too much trouble for her and the hard working team she had by her side.
I will definitely come back to the hotel to have a drink and a meal as the location , food and staff are superb ! 🤩💪🏻🙌🏼

My Daughter and her husband chose the Alverbank for their wedding, I cannot express enough how amazing their day was. We couldn’t have been more pleased with how everything went. The staff were so helpful and friendly and worked tirelessly on what was the hottest day of the year, they all contributed to what was an unforgettable day.

The setting for the ceremony was perfect, outside with the amazing view of the solent, plenty of room inside for our guests, nice to not be squeezing past tables and plenty of outside space for everyone to mingle.

I must say a huge thank you to Claire for everything she did to make the day so perfect, anything we needed she was there sorting it. I would highly recommend the Alverbank as a wedding venue everyone I spoke to said what an amazing location it was!

Such a memorable day, I’m so happy they chose the Alverbank!

We have stayed here a couple of times, recently this week. Beautiful setting, lovely hotel, room had stunning view, very good size. Facilities were really good, staff were very polite and helpful. Food was lovely. All in all we love it and will definitely return. Want to give a shout out to Steph who made our check in effortless, very professional, polite and very informative. Our daughter had her wedding here in April. The venue itself is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. The staff especially Claire couldn’t do enough for us the day before and on the day itself. The bar staff and waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable and clean. I can’t recommend this place enough it’s beautiful. We went back a week later for a Sunday dinner and weren’t disappointed. Lovely food and great service.

Wow, where to start. This is the place to get married, the staff, the view, the venue, the location, quite simply exceptional. The day was an absolute delight from start to finish. The staff work tirelessly to ensure that everyone is happy, well fed and of course watered. The rooms are beautiful with stunning views across the solent and fantastic breakfast to complete. Honestly I could not recommend this beautiful hotel and exceptional team any higher, thank you so much for hosting such a wonderful day with memories to be cherished.

Our Son got married at the Alverbank in May and wow, the venue, food, service, staff are all amazing. Abby and her team did an amazing job from the initial enquiry through to the big day. The venue is simply stunning with amazing views and the rooms are clean, comfortable and very luxurious. The food was absolutely stunning. The team are just the best I have ever encountered in a hotel, nothing was too much trouble and they are all so friendly and happy to help.
Would I recommend the Alverbank, Yes absolutely without a doubt.

Had my mum's 80th birthday party on a wonderfully sunny day. The room looked lovely the doors were open to the gardens with view views of the Isle of Wight. The food was great and the staff friendly and helpful.
