Amazing. Stayed here a few times over the last 10 years. Location is amazing, nice and quiet yet not too far from local attractions. Everything here is perfect, food, rooms, facilities, it's so clean and the lady running the place really makes you feel at home. I wouldn't stay anywhere else whilst in the area. Thank you

Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else, warm and inviting b&b with a lovely welcome from the host Barbara Breakfast is the perfect start to the day! Rooms have everything you need. Perfectly located in the centre and just a 5 minute walk to the beautiful beach ⛱️ Plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes to chose from too!

I booked 2 rooms for me and my best friends to stay for the 1940's weekend in Lytham. Having stayed at many guesthouses and B&B's in the area I have a good idea of what the area standards are like.||I have to say this place is head and shoulders above the rest!||centrally located right around the corner from wetherspoons you can get a cheap meal anytime you need to! This works well for me as when I visit I am normally coming after work and need a late night meal when I arrive. ||The B&B is very well presented and the hosts are welcoming and informative - but leave you alone to do what you like too, which I really like. ||Rooms are clean and quaint, but very spacious! ||I emailed through and let the owners know about my allergies and they very kindly got me some soya milk and gluten free bread which I really appreciated. ||I come up to Lytham every year to visit my mum who retired up there so I will be staying here again for sure! ||cannot recommend this place enough. ||Thanks for a lovely stay!!

We stayed here for Lytham festival and were very pleased! Owners were lovely, friendly people and very accommodating. The room was very clean and tidy. Small things you don't always see like make up remover pads in the bathroom were appreciated and there was even a chocolate on the pillow! Really comfy bed and breakfast was one of the best I have had, certainly better than a lot of more expensive hotels I have stayed at. Will definitely be staying again and would heartily recommend.

Just returned from two night stay at The Anchorage. Had a very enjoyable stay, the landlady Barabara is a very warm and friendly lady who cooks an amazing breakfast. The room was very large and comfortable and it was so nice to be able to take our small dog with us for our Easter break. The Anchorage is very near the sea front and shops and although there is only street parking we always found a spot near our accommodation. Would recommend and we will be visiting again this summer. Thank you Barabara for looking after us so well.

Stayed here for a weekends break whilst visiting the illuminations , Lytham and surrounding areas . ||It has to be said this place has stood still in terms of decoration , modernisation etc. But the charm , friendliness and cooking skills of the proprietors is obviously what keeps this place ticking over . ||If your looking for a damn good breakfast with as much as you could possibly eat this is the place , plenty of choice , quality and freshness is all there but don't expect it to be in elaborate surroundings with up to date decor , furnishings etc. Admittedly what is there does its job from the tiny sink to the lamp shades hanging in every corner of the room , in fact we had 7 lights in our room but it failed to have any pictures on the wall which made for a lot of blank wall . No head board to the bed and not so much as a hook in the bath room to hang clothes but at least this room did have a door on the toilet !! Yes beware they don't all and after enquiring in the first room where the door was I was ask if it was a problem , well yes to me it was and having spoken to friends etc since I came back they were amazed that somewhere like that existed so yes it would seem we all like a door on our toilets . ||For what we paid £62 a night including breakfast it was adequate , no frills , basic B&B .

Absolutely loved this B&B The host Barbara was very welcoming and our room was immaculate, a good size with everything we would need. The cooked breakfast was delicious and there was plenty, nothing was too much trouble.||We will most definitely be going again, for me you cannot beat the personal,friendly approach and we genuinely felt this from word go 😊

The Anchorage is a hidden gem, very close to the town centre and beach. Lovely old house on a quiet street,parking easy,full of character, very clean and great breakfast. Owners are lovely and well behaved dogs are welcome. This was a repeat visit and fully intend to visit again.
