We stayed at the weekend and we're very impressed. The room was large, as was the bed! It was beautifully furnished and the bathroom was lovely with an excellent shower and lovely shower gel/shampoo etc. |The room had a hairdryer, can, tea and coffee facilities and really nice biscuits. |The instructions for entering the building and using the facilities were clear and extremely helpful. We particularly liked how secure the whole place felt with it's locks and codes so you can easily access when the cafe is closed. Plenty of free parking just outside also which was great. We had breakfast each morning in the cafe and the food was excellent. The cafe itself is very nice, it's comfy and really welcoming. The menu was excellent as was the food. I recommend the eggs Benedict! |The staff were incredibly helpful and one gentleman who worked there even took the time to make suggestions for things we could do, so we took his advice and went to Stroud farmers and then for a lovely walk on the common above Stroud. All in all a lovely place to stay and definitely recommended.

Huge room, massive comfy bed. Great combination of a modern feel with some older pieces of furniture. The rooms are above a cafe which opens at 8am and does a delicious range of breakfasts. A very well run operation and good value too. Sherston is a delightful village and our room looked out over the main square. All in all, a lovely experience.

I stayed at the Angel as I was attending a party nearby.
Whilst the room was beautiful, the need to limit the hot water and heating to specific times is a step TOO far in terms of saving costs. I have never stayed anywhere this happens, quite frankly a basic travel lodge supply’s hot water and heating throughout your stay.
At 5pm There was NO HOT WATER NOT EVEN LUKE WARM I had to wash my hair in cold water!!!
I thought at least in the morning I would be able to take a bath NO HOT WATER at 7.30am
this has completely ruined my experience. I would suggest avoiding this place unless you just want a nice room and don’t need to shower or bathe.

After conducting research, I selected (The Angel). I was highly impressed with its secure check in & check out, luxurious bathing items and comfortable rooms and additional facilities(tea/coffee and cookies). Lovely place to stay to feel the tradition of British culture.||||I highly recommend it!

Comfortable beds, good pillows, Bramley toiletries and the best coffee and breakfast for miles around, just downstairs. |A really good base for exploring the area with Westonbirt and Tetbury close by, Bath just to the south and the Cotswolds north and west.

Stopped in for late morning brunch on the way to Westonbirt. Excellent food, really tasty, fresh and good portions. Sat in the dog friendly room with our dog, who enjoyed the free biscuits!

Excellent well positioned café with rooms in Sherston - no breakfast and but café opens at 0800 am for breakfast- everything as it should be - lovely quiet location - great instructions of how to get into the cafe (all coded) - comfortable rooms - excellent breakfast the next day - pay on departure (but they do have card details stored if you forget!!) No staff on site

Had fantastic Sunday breakfast last week at the Angel cafe (with rooms). Friendly service, tasty and fresh food. I was surprised that it was relatively quiet for Sunday 10am, considering g the lovely food they serve, but I suppose people prefer Sunday lunches to breakfasts. It seems popular for families gatherings.
