The barn is light and spacious. Despite sharing the accommodation with two other couples we all had plenty of room. Our bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen was a extremely well equipped. The large kitchen table provided more than ample space for our visit. It was a shame we visited in the summer because the large wood burner looked inviting. The owner, Sarah, made us most welcome and helped make our birthday weekend memorable.

We have stayed several times at the The Apple Press Barn while on holiday and in between a house move. The Apple Press Barn is located in a lovely rural spot, yet just 10-minutes drive to the centre of Taunton. A great location surrounded by the fields of local working farms and you can even buy your duck eggs straight from the farmer's stall just a 50-yard walk away !

The Apple Press Barn retains it's rural character and charm and blends tradition with modern - there is a spacious, well equipped kitchen with washing machine, which was very handy following our days out walking in the fields and woods close by.

There is a very comfortable lounge area inside with a traditional log burner reminding us of a bygone era as well as enhancing the modern underfloor heating during the colder, wintry evenings.

There are also two courtyard areas outside, one of which has a hot tub and is very secluded and where we enjoyed supping a glass or two of our favourite bubbly well into a long summers night !

The host and her family were very welcoming and helpful and overall the Trip Advisor Certificates of Excellence displayed are well earned.

A wonderful August bank holiday weekend. Sarah was the perfect host, on hand enough to answer any questions but leaving us to our own company. The Apple Press is the perfect base for a break - three decent size bedrooms (one en suite), large kitchen diner, family bathroom and living room. WiFi, hot tub, and three dogs who will play with you all day (if you want them to!). Thank you Sarah and family for being great hosts and we truly hope to see you again soon.

Lovely renovated barn. Has everything you would need. Excellent attention to detail. I.e. plenty of washing and dishwasher tablets. Good quiet location but not too far to the south coast beaches and other attractions in Somerset.

Fantastic holiday home. Had a marvellous time and Sarah was a delightful host, very helpful when needed. Would definitely return!
