The young lady serving was polite and efficient. There was a good selection of tempting looking cakes, even late in the afternoon when we dropped in. I had a brownie which was a good size, and delicious. My husband had a millionaire shortbread which he informs me was equally good.

Bought Bakewell pudding in lieu of bday cake for my Mum’s birthday! Opened after travelling home to discover a very pasty pudding with a tiny sliver of jam (shown) Must say I’m disappointed for £6 price tag

I normally buy my Bakewell Puddings from The Old Original Bakewell Pudding Shop round the corner. But the queue was long so instead I took a punt on this place. Glad I did as the pastry was a lot better than the ones I've had previously. Would definitely go again. Although word of warning, the flaked almond puddings were lacking in jam and that seems to be a recurring theme. Stick to the traditional puddings and you can't go wrong.

Popped in between Christmas and New Year with a friend. Prices are so reasonable given some of the prices of other places in Bakewell. Cute and creative festive treats. Loved the Bakewell traybake and the cookie which was a little on the sweeter side but beautifully decorated. Lady behind the counter was alone but despite a packed shop (with humans and dogs), she was so friendly and explained what the Bakewell traybake was. Our hot chocolate and caramel macchiato were excellent too. Will definitely return to try out more treats.

Visited with my wife, grandchildren and son and daughter in law. Very welcoming, food was very good. The children's meals where excellent value and quality. Made for a relaxed and comfy dinner. Thank you.

Great place to stop for coffee and cake out of the many places in Bakewell. Friendly staff, good sized portions and coffee. Dog friendly too. Will come here again

When i came in today, a young lady called Katie? ( i overheard her name so apologies if this is wrong) served me and she was absolutely brilliant , very friendly, polite and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!
