Nice pot of tea holding two cups. Cups were a little tea stained which might put some people off but didn't bother me. Quite a busy cafe. Food looked excellent but I wasn't hungry. Staff were pleasant and the tea came outside almost immediately.

Called for breakfast. Bacon on full breakfast undercooked, bacon on sandwich looked like it had been waiting to be used on a sandwich and could be hidden ? Poached egg overdone. Sandwich bread was rubbish.Drinks arrived shortly after ordering, then a long wait for food. I don't think the kitchen can cope with food orders. Maybe just stick to good sandwiches ?‍♂️
On the plus side it's a very nice place for coffee and the cakes looked nice. It's also dog friendly ?

A hidden gem, this is so close to me yet I never knew it was there. I had the avocado and poached egg on granary toast with a black Americano and it was lovely and well presented. Will definitely be back!

Great coffee. We found ordering simple breakfast food meant a 25-30 minute wait - which is far too long! And it was the opposite of busy, with say half a dozen customers at the time. We resorted to jokes about finding a chicken to lay the eggs, etc. And then dis-appointing bland food.

A great find to stop for coffee on our way home from holiday in the Peak District. Really efficient service, the staff were friendly with lovely smiles. Dog friendly. We were tempted by delicious home made cheese scones with homemade savoury preserves and cream cheese! Good coffee. Would highly recommend.

Very busy little coffee shop/cafe. Only one in village and only open 10 to 3.
Great coffee, nice cakes and food, reasonable prices.
