We had a wonderful stay at The Barn. Jane made us so welcome and was the best hostess. The room was very comfortable and spacious and the lounge was lovely for our family get-together when we arrived. Jane cooks an amazing breakfast. with Lincolnshire sausages and bacon from the butchers, and fresh eggs picked every morning from her own chickens. We had fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, and as much toast as you like. Also a choice of cereal and fresh fruit. We will most definitely be staying here again - it’s an absolute gem of a place. Thank you Jane, and your daughter for such a lovely stay in your beautiful home.

We stayed here when attending a major Classic Car Show at nearby Grimsthorpe Castle. Jane was an excellent host who made us feel most welcome. The bedroom was very quiet and spacious with a very comfortable bed. In the morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast with pots of fresh Tea and Coffee.
We certainly plan to stay here again when the Car Show is on this time next year , but we liked it so much might be an idea to stay here again before then for a short break and explore the area.
So I can truly say that The Barn is very highly recommended as a lovely place to say and very well priced too.

We were extremely lucky to stay here for 2 nights, what a find! We stayed in the double-bedded room on the first floor, which was large and very comfortable, with a lovely bathroom and an excellent shower. Jane cooked a first class breakfast, which we ate together with other guests in her large kitchen, it was lovely chatting to her and she made us feel part of the family. There was a comfortable lounge to sit in and meet with other guests, with a tv and lots of books and magazines to browse. We ate at the New Inn in the village on our first night, a friendly pub serving reasonably priced food. On the second night we went further afield to the Green Man at Ropsley, currently Lincolnshire's Best Pub, great food but advisable to book ahead. The Barn is close to several fine properties and we recommend a visit to Belvoir Castle and Grimsthorpe Castle, both within 30 minutes drive away. All in all a wonderful b & b made all the more enjoyable by Jane's welcome and friendliness during our stay. ||

Stayed 1 night in this beautiful barn conversion. Jane was a fabulous and welcoming hostess and her breakfast was superb, including homemade apple juice, marmalade and sausages. The room was clean, very comfortable with an on suite shower room-with a power shower that makes you feel like you're having a massage at the same time. Lovely quiet, rural location in South Lincolnshire. One night B&B was £90. Well worth the money in my opinion.

We stayed at the Barn when attending our Granddaughter's wedding nearby, and the whole event was wonderful. Jane made us so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds and everywhere very clean and well looked after. It was quiet and spacious, a lovely place to stay for a special occasion.

As the photo the barn is immersed in a wonderfully cared for country garden. We stayed in the kind size bed room which was quite clean and comfortable with a good shower. Our brilliant host Jane provided breakfast we also had dinner in the local pub. Everyone in the town was friendly and there are lots of local walks (Jane has maps etc). Hope to be able to go and stay again in the future.

I have never before stayed at a B and B (and we’ve stayed at a lot) where we were made to feel so immediately comfortable and trusted. Jane welcomed us into her kitchen, where we sat around her kitchen table and chatted while she served us tea and delicious date and coconut cake. The Barn is a beautiful, spacious house, filled with books, so we soon felt at home. Our room was spotlessly clean, with big soft towels and (always a bonus for me) facecloths too. Fresh roses add a thoughtful touch. Although there was no TV in our bedroom, it was much nicer to sit in the comfy lounge to watch it and the Wi-fi worked perfectly too. The local pub for dinner is only a few minutes walk away and serves good home cooked food. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast, again able to chat to Jane and the other guests in a very relaxed way. This was a last minute booking for us and a great choice. It’s not far from Lincoln which we really enjoyed visiting. I’m sure we will be back again before too long!

An excellent place to stay. The barn is beautiful and very homely. Jane really makes you feel so welcome in her home.||||We had the family room, lovely bed linen, very clean. Loved the fact there was no television, but glad there was a DAB radio and wifi too. The rooms were spacious and love the fresh flowers!||||We would definitely recommend this to anyone, from going on your own to families. Also, the food is delicious too!! Jane makes a fantastic full English breakfast using home made sausages, home made apple juice. The full works! ||||Jane was very helpful and on our first night she booked us a table at the New Inn, which was a walking distance. ||||A lovely weekend away, which my children thoroughly enjoyed and really got on with Jane and her daughter too!||||Thanks||The Salans, from Bedfordshire
