We spent a lovely afternoon here, a beautifully cooked roast dinner, more food than we could eat. Sumptuous! The hosts are lovely people, we were well looked after. We could not have asked for anything more. Thank you for your kind hospitality, great food and your attention to detail.

Beautiful place surrounded by greenery with friendly, helpful Hosts and sociable but well-behaved animals. Delicious breakfast, comfortable room and surprisingly relaxed atmosphere! We felt there more like visiting family than staying at hotel 🙂
Definitely above our expectations. We wish we could stay longer.
Great choice for those who look for peace and quiet.

We have just returned from our 3rd weekend stay at The Barn and have already booked again for a weekend there next year. That in itself should tell you how much we love it there! Helen and John are fabulous hosts, so friendly and accommodating. The food is cooked by John and is absolutely perfect, my son loves his pancakes and my other half his full English, I favour the fresh fruit & yogurt but have also sampled his pancakes and eggs and can highly recommend them. The Barn is located on a working farm but is so peaceful you wouldn’t know anyone else was around. The views from the seating provided in the garden are stunning, this is a real rural retreat. Make sure to also enjoy the view of the stars at night, with no light pollution in the area the night sky here is amazing. The conversion of the barn from a working building on the farm to a luxury B&B has been done to an incredibly high standard. Downstairs there is the spacious dining area and a living room for guests to use (the owners live in a separate building). Upstairs there are 2 rooms, we have always stayed in the larger of the 2 rooms which is called Barley. The huge bed is a super king size and is probably the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. The room is tastefully decorated and has everything you need including tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom is another large room with a lovely shower and full sized bath. If you want a high end rural stay in North Cornwall you won’t be disappointed with The Barn at Collacott.

We’ve stayed in a few barns over the years but this friendly b&b is really special. There are two bedrooms which have a view of the moors in the distance. We were made very welcome. Everything is to a high specification, the bed really comfortable and there is a shared lounge if you don’t want to stay in your room. The breakfast was excellent with different diets catered for. All in all an excellent place to stay in North Cornwall.

Thank you Helen and John! What an experience we had here. Certainly one we will never forget.

The rooms are wonderful, comfortable, warm and modern. The included breakfast was delicious (especially the freshly made full English).

The location is perfect if you have a car, in the middle of a farm near the historic town of Launceston with beautiful views over the area.

Highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you!

We stayed two nights at The Barn and were impressed by the high quality of this B&B. The place is wonderful, it’s cosy and Helen makes you feel at home straight away. The bedroom was huge, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had both a bath and a shower! The breakfast was exquisite, both the continental options as well as the English breakfast. I would definitely stay again any time I’m in Cornwall.

What a fantastic B&B. Lovely en-suite room with beautiful views and spotlessly clean. Very warm welcome from our hosts, Helen and John who couldn't do enough for us, you are really looked after here. The party meal on Sunday was terrific! And the beautiful lounge with the wood burner, was just right for an afternoon rest after lunch. Thoroughly recommend you visit here, you wont want to leave.||Thank you for a lovely weekend Helen and John

We had a great time at this b&b! The b&b itself is beautiful and situated in a wonderfull countryside landscape. What made it really special and unforgetable were Helen & John, the most friendly hosts we meet during our round trip in southeast England. Neither the kids, nor my wife and i wanted to leave… er highly recomend a stay here, especially for families!
