This was our second visit, (14 years difference), but nothing had changed. Yvonne and Steve have got possibley the best B&B on the island. They are both very friendly and accommodating, the rooms are fantastic,and the bed is possibly the best we’ve ever slept in. Breakfast is basically what you want, but the full English is fabulous and all cooked by Steve. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you both so much.

I visit the isle of wight few weeks ago and I was very impressed about the accommodation. Maybe the Isle is not offer you many thing but If you want to relax this is the best place where to go. ||The place is very quite, nature around you, beaches are 10 minutes walking. In the house I felt like in my childhood when you can relax, listen music, speak with nice people. The rooms was very clean, with books, magazine, the best tea and the bathroom was large. You are not feeling away, you are feeling like home.||||The breakfast with a lot of choices and fresh cooked.||It was amazing and thank you again for the family.

We’ve stayed here twice and can’t speak highly enough of yvonne and steve’s hospitality. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is perfect - they’ll provide whatever you want. Lovely, happy, relaxed environment. Perfect for getting away from it all. Thank you yvonne and steve.

Not sure why the wrong picture is shown, as this is a barn not a house (take a look on their website). ||||Steve and Yvonne are very easy going & chatted freely. As we are very interested in renovations, they showed us around the other rooms while they were between guests. Each room has different great features, along with a wall of floor to ceiling windows. ||||This is a rural & quiet location, ideally situated to explore the island without the noise of the more touristy areas. As we enjoyed warm weather, it was lovely to sit outside in the evenings enjoying a drink away from the kids! ||||The shower cubicle in the attached building was quite small but the shower didn't half pack a punch! There's another barn with two rooms, one has a large wet room & the other a shower a bit larger than ours.||||There's no form of entertainment for younger kids, they might get bored, but I wouldn't think twice about bringing my older teenagers here with me.||||Breakfast is plentiful - a full-English, cereals, fruit and tea/coffee/fruit juice - they even had soya milk for me 🙂

Well stayed at the Barn last weekend for the second time, and both times Yvonne and Steve have been welcoming, helpful and cooked a really really good breakfast(well Steve does ?). Location is great as a base for travelling round the island even without a car. Will defo recommend as a lovely place to stay.

We spent two nights and were more than happy with our experience. The beds were extremely comfortable, all necessary amenities taken care of, and a wonderful breakfast prepared us for the day ahead. My mum is 94 so the wet room was an added bonus.

Yvonne and steve are great hosts in a clean and attractive b&b. Lovely rooms and breakfast superb with yvonne and steve chatting to give a personal touch. Visited 4 times and will be there in march 2014. well done to you both.

Great place to stay fantastic breakfast good selection of cereals.fruit and plenty of it. the beds are clean with plenty of tea and coffee in the room should you.need it we have been staying there for the past 16"years and usually 3 times a year Yvonne & Steve make you very welcome John(talc)Kathy
