My family and I had a lovely dinner here. The restaurant has got a very cosy atmosphere, with a charming, beautifully decorated dining room. Fried haddock and lemon sole were really good - my burger was a bit too charcoaled instead, but we'd still rate it a good food experience. Staff was very welcoming, and in particular Sophia was absolutely top notch - she was super efficient and kind and made us feel very welcomed.

Stayed in lovely airbnb for night close by and chose this place due to location. What a great find . Booked online a few hours before and had a lovely table , excellent service and most of all the food was excellent 👌. I recommend the fish and chips to all but I saw many other dishes I would have liked to try. Will definitely return to this little gem of a neighbourhood in the future and visit here again

Thank you thank you thank you. What a superb evening celebrating my daughter’s 21st. You looked after us so well and the whole experience was a joy. I do not know how you managed to get hot food out to 20 people. It tasted amazing and the service was second to none. I could but recommend this pub highly enough.

Lovely pub in a lovely location, staff are amazing, went for my son’s birthday, the only issue was the menu! Limited to 1 steak choice! Fish and chips, 1 lamb dish, and not much else, the burgers, to be honest could have come from anywhere… needs a revamp on the food choice !

Such a wonderful little pub. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful food. The staff really look after you but also leave you be (if that makes sense...).
I always meet there with my girlfriends. Never been disappointed yet.
Beautiful setting with a fantastic garden. And they love dogs!!!!
I give it a 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

How has this stunning pub and camp site passed us by before now? It’s beautiful. The grounds are immaculate, the pub is beautiful and the camping is perfect. We’ll be back for sure. Thank for for a great weekend 😘

Lovely looking pub, friendly and helpful staff, the starters were lovely, the burger was quite average and dry, wine was lovely but was not poured just plonked on the table.
