Extremely disappointed with my treatment at the Beauty Boutique...I went today for a Hollywood wax. The experience itself was very traumatic as the wax would not come off, the beautician had no idea why....the amount of hair that had been left was ridiculous and I actually had to cut clumps of wax out of the remaining hair myself. I was left extremely bruised and sore.
I complained as soon as I got home. I spent over £50 in the salon and was told I would not be able to have a refund for the wax (obviously did not want refunding for other treatments) as they 'do not offer refunds under any circumstances'. I was told to have an oat bath to ease the soreness! I was offered a complimentary wax this evening out of usual hours to get rid of all of the missed hair. However due to the fact I was so sore and bruised this was definitely not an option.
It is also not a local salon to me so with time and petrol etc would not be worthwhile. The whole point of me getting waxed was due to a weekend away (leaving in the morning) and as a birthday treat!
I was told had I of mentioned that I had sensitive skin I could have been offered a light therapy to help with the redness, however it was all of the missed hairs I was more concerned about. I definitely did not get what I paid for. I do not wish to return in the future for any waxing as I have absolutely no faith in the staff, which I explained. As I did not accept the offer of a repeat wax I was told there would be no more correspondance.
Very upset that even after seeing photos they would not even give me a partial refund for only receiving a partial wax! Would avoid at all costs!

Even after nearly 3 weeks of swimming in the pool, sun, sand and a great holiday, just look at how these beauts have lasted!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else, such a cute salon with the loveliest staff ❤️❤️

I've been coming to The Beauty Boutique for approximately 4 years now and will continue to do so!!
Fantastic Manicure & Pedicures. Jo gives the best back massage I've ever had! Lovely friendly welcoming salon where nothing is too much trouble. I take my 87 year old Mum there for her monthly Manicure & she loves it as she is spoken to normally not like some little old lady! I cant recommend Jo & her team enough!
