We stayed here for a couple days away. The beehive inn was excellent, made even better by the hosts Keith and Amanda, they were extremely welcoming and full of local knowledge and points of interests. They also cook an excellent breakfast suited to whatever tastes you may have.

The room was clean and well kept and the inn itself was lovely, and the location was great, just a few minutes and you're in the centre of Whitby. We will definitely be back at some point.

We enjoyed our stay. The Beehive Inn was an old fashioned pub that was turned into a cottage b&b. It's a lovely place to stay if you like quiet and there is a bar if you'd like a drink. The rooms are elegant. They serve a lovely cooked breakfast. The couple who own it are very friendly. Just down the road, there is a park & ride which can take you to Whitby 15 to 20 min. There are plenty of lovely places to see on the coast. Just where park & ride is there is a stable restaurant which serves delicious food. This is the perfect place if you like walking and sightseeing. I wouldn't recommend children.

The warmest welcome from wonderful hosts. We return time after time to this delightful little pub. Warm comfortable rooms, a breakfast second to none and a great pint of ale. Fabulous menu on offer for dinner, always local produce served and it shows. Keith and Mandy are truly lovely people, nothing seems too much for them. We love this little gem.

We stayed 29th Jun for two nights. Mandy & Keith were great hosts, very friendly and welcoming with lots of local knowledge to help us make the most of our short stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are real belly busters. We ate here on one evening, the food was nice and good value for money. A great location, would definitely stay again if in the area.

This was our first weekend away since the pandemic and we were so looking forward to it. From arriving at the B&B we were treated like old friends. Mandy welcomed us in and showed us our room which was absolutely beautiful. Tea and coffee making facilities, shortbread and a bottle of water for us. The bathroom had shampoo and shower gel and plenty of towels. We left our stuff and joined our other friends in the bar. It was set up well for social distancing and gel was available to use all the time. We then met Keith who was a delight. Mandy and |Keith were just so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us. We had booked a meal with them and they said let us know when we wanted it and it would be ordered. The meal was delicious and made with care, all cooked by Mandy with Keith being our jolly waiter. We sat in the bar after and played cards which was good fun and never once did we feel uncomfortable. The bed was comfy and the room was a good temperature. Saturday and Sunday we had a beautiful breakfast made to order. We could have anything, full English, scrambled or poached egg. Nothing was too much trouble. We had warmed croissants with butter, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt and as much tea, coffee and orange juice as we wished. Keith gave us information about the park and ride, walking into Whitby and places to go. We mentioned a meal again that night and although they hadn’t much in as we hadn’t originally booked they were happy to go and buy more so that we could have a choice. We ate there again and once again it was delicious and plentiful. We had drinks in the bar and Keith came and joined us for a game of UNO and we had a brilliant evening. Mandy even gave us a bottle of a Prosecco as a thank you to us which we thoroughly enjoyed. All in all a lovely lovely place to stay with two of the most welcoming people I have met in a long time. We are already planning to go back. None of us wanted to come home. We can’t understand why anyone would give a negative review for this delightful place, it is a diamond.

We are just back from an August Bank holiday stay from Friday to Monday. Just read previous reviews as all are correct. Mandy and Keith are informative, congenial, brilliant hosts. Food is excellent, all you need and more. Bedroom really cosy and comfortable so slept well. Nothing is too much trouble. Building is listed and goes back to the 1500 's. Beams and lots of history. The weather was awful but can honestly say we have come back having had a most memorable and relaxing weekend. We shall be returning.
