I found The Bell Lodge perfect in every way. Hosts and owners, Emma and Gordon could not do enough for us to make sure we felt welcome and needed everything. Nothing was too much trouble for them. |Breakfast was amazing, rooms were ultra clean and replenished and they both went out of their way to help us and make our stay pleasant. Just faultless. Perfect hosts, the breakfast was as good as you can get - great choice of food, well cooked and couldn’t fault it. Rooms spotless. Ample parking in front of the lodge. The Bell Lodge is up there with the best!! Will certainly be back.

The room is very clean and comfortable. Their service has been brilliant and they are very friendly. The location is great for trips around the Isle of Wight. Thank you Emma and Gordon. We will definitely come back again.

What a gem. Emma & Gordon are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them, a real home from home.|Room was very clean, good supply of tea, coffee & biscuits.and if you needed fresh towels just ask.|Breakfast just amazing, you can build your own, all freshly cooked, also fresh fruit yogurt & cereals.|Car parking, which is a plus, beach within easy walking distance, and nearby bus stops, and a good service.|Would definitely stay here again

Had a nice 3 days staying at the bell Lodge great hosts Emma and Gordon couldn't do enough breakfast was great slept well .|Emma found the keys I put them in a pair of socks we had a extra hours journey to pick the other set mark wasn't best pleased as you| can imagine |Thanks again guys till we meet again with the next car x

Traveled over from NZ and stayed at Bell Lodge for the second year |Perfect location for walking and parking |Beautiful Rooms , excellent cuisine with tailor made option.|Everything from cleanliness to generous hospitality .|Gordon and Emma were the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble in making our stay such a pleasurable one.|Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

I spent a most enjoyable week at The Bell Lodge with my partner. The guesthouse is conveniently located at walking distance from the village centre. It is well-presented, comfortable and cosy, with all mod cons thrown in as well. I slept well, showered and shaved without any problems and partook of wholesome breakfasts (which are to be ordered beforehand on a form).||The hosts, Emma and Gordon, went to great lengths to make our stay as agreeable as can be. (They even gave me a birthday card and put up a banner; must have been thirty years since anyone did that for me.) They are, of course, highly knowledgeable as regards the various Isle of Wight attractions, they are affable animal lovers and－which was much appreciated－they drove us back to the ferry terminal on the day of our departure.||In summary: as a holiday-maker, you could do far worse if staying at Sandown. I can therefore highly recommend The Bell Lodge.
