Busy little village pub with plenty of additional outdoor seating. Low beamed ceilings. TV. Very good drop of beer, creamy and well looked after. Handpulled cask beers were Dark Horse Brewery's Tom Tate Bitter and Dark Horse Brewery's Old Boot Ale.

This is a pub you view from outside and think I'm not sure if I can get what I'm after. But once you enter your pleasantly surprised, Friday early evening it was packed with locals loads of smiles and sociable, the landlord is a gent quick with service and keen for trade. A couple of surprises they don't serve, food at any time! "! Very" pet friendly! and the toilets are very clean modern which you don't usually have in an older village pub that has no food service. Finally it was loverly and warm with roaring open fire and an excellent pint selection. Would have been 5 star if it served food. Still recommended!

The Boot and Shoe Inn is a cosy seventeenth century unspoiled village pub. There is a good choice of beers lager and cider including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition when I visited. The pub is a bit off the beaten track but is well worth finding. The staff are very friendly and welcoming it is a lovely dog friendly pub. Highly recommended.

What an amazing old school pub! Kev the landlord was very welcoming and hospitable. If you're ever in the area this is a must visit. We spent Christmas in the village and frequented the establishment and it just kept getting better. Fantastic drinks and reasonably priced!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Ace little pub in a gorgeous village! The food was lovely, nice little selection of beers, and not to mention a great selection of different gins and spirits. Kevin and Andrea, the owners, made us feel very welcome, as did the locals. Will definitely be going back soon! Safe to say a sore head followed after a very enjoyable night.
