Went in for a couple of drinks and a bite. Food was great, views are amazing and so was the service - nothing to complain about. The pub is dog friendly inside and out. We wanted to say a big thank you to a female member of staff that went above and beyond to help us get home when our bus didn't show up and it was already dark. Thank you again !!

Great place that serves Sunday roast until 7pm, we just caught it after our hike. It was self serve and everything was very delicious. Had local gluten-free beer which was amazing! Highly recommend!

Sadly the garden doesn’t have grass or a view. Some of the staff were a bit rude, pretended not to see us, some were nice. The food was a joke (see the photo) the nachos were the worst: guacamole was a teaspoon of something green, probably from a bottle, the nachos were stale, there was no spice. Unless you’re desperate I would suggest avoiding this place.

Visited May bank holiday 2023. Fantastic service. Booked at very short notice for 6 people on a Bank Holiday Monday. My mum walks with the aide of a stick. Our table was ideally situated near the entrance, the loo & the bar. The food was well presented & tasted very nice. All staff were friendly, polite & very helpful. A 5* experience.
Visited July 2024.
Under new management, so wasn't sure what to expect. I shouldn't have worried.
Again, fantastic value, tasty, well presented food, friendly & attentive staff. The Plough's having some improvements carried out at the moment, but these are being done without any inconvenience to the customers.
5☆ highly recommend.

Large multi room restaurant, idiosyncratic decor. We were sat in the room furthest from the bar. While initially attentive the serving staff were largely absent, which meant having to trek to the bar to order more drinks.
We didn't stay for dessert.
Tempora prawns turned out to be scampi (we didn't pay for them).

Love the decor and very friendly staff. I had delicious (and generous!) nachos as a starter followed by the vegan burger and chips. All very good and portions I couldn't quite finish! A lovely pub.
