What a fabulous place to stay! We have had a wonderful few days enjoying the warm hospitality at the Braemar. Lovely, clean, large bedrooms with spacious veranda and delicious breakfast within very easy reach of the shops in Shanklin and the beautiful Chine. We will be back! Thank you for looking after us so well 🙏

Visiting family in Cowes but they used to live in Shanklin and it remains my favourite location. Stayed here in Shanklin and loved this B&B location close to everything. My favourite pub the Steamer is on the beach. Fantastic walks and easy access to the town or beach. We left our car in the car park and walked everywhere even though there is good rail or bus routes. The hosts were very friendly and breakfast was fabulous and enough to start the day. Value for money for the price and really large communal balcony which gets full sun which is ideal to sit on with a beer, wine or a drink. There are plenty of chairs and tables on the balcony for a tipple at the end of the day. We heard no noises from other rooms and really enjoyed our stay to visit family.

Fantastic hosts, made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was lovely each morning with a wide variety of selections. Room immaculate and lovely outdoor terrace, perfect for nice weather! The games room with a pool table an added bonus. Brilliant location right in the heart of Shanklin old village. We are a young couple but we loved our stay and when we visit again, we’ll definitely come back.

Brilliant B&B. Lovely place, with great owners. Very friendly. Great location, just 1 minute walk to shops, pubs, tea rooms of old shanklin. Lovely walk to beach, just a few mins. Clean, well equipped rooms, with lovely balcony for a cup of tea! Breakfast really good too. Overall, an excellent place to stay.

What a lovely find. Very comfortable (large) rooms with access to a 'terrace' for enjoying the evening sun with a glass of wine and a good book. Yummy breakfast.....good choice of cooked options, wonderful poached eggs.|Bos and Claire couldn't have made us more welcome, and we felt we were saying goodbye to friends when we left.|Would highly recommend a stay at The Braemar

Lovely B and B, really friendly owners Claire and Boz with great information about the island. Rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast good quality and great location for Shanklin and pleasant short walk to beach and promenade. Thanks for the hospitality.

Had a great stay at The Braemar and now totally converted to the B&B way having been an avid camper for years! ||Claire & Boz are warm and welcoming as is the B&B itself - spotlessly clean, comfortable and ideally situated in the picturesque Shanklin Old Village.

We stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the hospitality, location, and facilities here. You are right in the middle of town with parking at the rear.

Our room was clean and well looked after and the shower was excellent. You order the cooked breakfast in advance which had a number of options available and was really well-cooked.

A real gem of a place and one we will come back to.
