Had a fantastic meal here tonight. We Happened to book a table at this place at short notice when in Cambridge dropping our daughter off. What an excellent choice purely by chance! The food was amazing and so well done. The restaurant is cozy and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Lovely decor throughout and price was excellent value for money. Can't recommend it enough. If you are ever in the area then you should try it out, you will not be disappointed!

Competitive Pub

Trying to write reviews for the Cambridge pubs therefore entered this restaurant.

The menu is relatively limited compared to Milton Arms and Lion&Lamb nearby, but still competitive.

The lamb rump was in Indian style, very soft and tender that melted into your mouth. With a nice salad.

But the rice was slightly dry and stuck together, probably slightly stuck into the bottom of the cooker?

The burger was really nice. It had both quality and quantity. Large and juicy burger. Not oily. The chips were hot and tasted very good, in generous quantity.

The restaurant is rustic but clean. The toilets are clean and roomy.

The staff was nice and helpful. He offered help even we didn't request.

Overall it's a competitive business in Cambridge.

This is the second time weโ€™ve stayed at The Brewers and it didnโ€™t disappoint. Lovely comfortable rooms sit behind the pub and restaurant. The food is gorgeous, with an Indian twist on some pub classics. We will definitely return again.

Delicious Sunday roasts - excellent portions and food very tasty. I had the trout which looked and tasted fantastic. Loads of vegetables cooked to perfection. Really like the cauliflower cheese. Service was discrete, friendly and food can quickly. Great for Sunday dinner. Canโ€™t wait to come for the Friday Thali.

An old fashioned inn has been turned into an up market curry house. The service was slow. The food a poor quality and over priced. The venue retains it's charms but the rest is not very good.

Exceptional service and superb food. Have eaten here many times since they opened on 1 May 2021 and everyone I have brought to this gastro pub, loved it. Well done Mauli and Bumi.

Staying here is like staying in someone's shed. The ceiling is low with very few windows. As soon as we opened the door there was a big stain on the carpet. The throw rug was grubby and pulled. The shower had mould and the radiator had an inch of dust inside it. The room was also heavily scented from a diffuser. I think that was placed in the room to mask a damp smell in the room. The manager is rude and lack basic people skills. We were to stay 2 nights. I asked for a refund for the second night so we could stay elsewhere, all I was offered a 25% discount on our next stay. Well hello, we are from Australia and wouldn't stay here if it was free. We ended up wearing the cost and staying somewhere else on the second night.
