Just back from a lovely Bubbly spa break at The Bridge. Have been here a few times before and it has always been good value for money. Our package included an overnight stay, 3 hours use of the spa with afternoon tea and 2 glasses of fizz, a 2 course evening meal and breakfast. Check in was quick and easy, we were slightly early but our room was ready so were able to go to the room to prepare for our time in the spa. |Our room was clean and modern with a decent size bathroom. The only negative was that it was very warm, even with the radiator and towel rail turned off.|The spa staff were very friendly and welcoming and explained where everything was. The addition of 2 new hot tubs since our last visit was a very welcome one and the rain did not spoil our relaxation time. The afternoon tea was very nice but I don't think I would have paid the advertised price if hadn't been included in our package. We didn't have any extra treatments but enjoyed using the saunas, steam room and foot baths.|We went to the bar for a drink before dinner. The person serving didn't seem to really know what she was doing and said that she didn't work in there usually...I'm pretty sure there was a similar story the last time we visited.|Our evening meal was a carvery and whilst not amazing, it was perfectly fine and enjoyable. The sticky toffee pudding that followed was delicious! The dining staff were friendly and did a great job.|Overall we had a really good short break and will hopefully return in the future.

Really wanted to write a wonderful review of the pudding club at this hotel but I was so disappointed. To start, the staff weren't sure what time it even started! The staff were really friendly though and Caroline, who ran it, was great. The small main was delicious but considering it was a pudding club the puddings were not at all good. Their signature syrup pudding was flat and just had syrup drizzled on it, the jam roll poly was hard, boozy bread pudding seemed to have no booze and sticky toffee pudding, although light and fluffy wasn't sticky at all. The best was the brownie with white chocolate sauce, but 1 out of 7 just was a big let down to what we hoped would be a wonderful meal.

Stayed over for a wedding. Absolutely beautiful. Room was great, quiet, had space and a huge bathroom. Staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Food for the wedding and breakfast the next day was great. Staff were particularly great with the children

Absolutely fantastic stay Fri & Sat 5/6th Oct. we were looked after from beginning to end. The staff are exceptional. I found the catering staff so polite and helpful and Everyone gave you a smile. Customer Service outstanding, rooms are very clean, need a little bit of updating/slight wear on corner of shower a for example but nothing major. | we’re very happy with our stay. Zoe on reception had a great presence and her Customer Service was fantastic! Very happy customers. Been twice now. We dont usually leave reviews but needed to share!

Had my daughters wedding here a couple of weeks ago, from checking in the night before, the wedding day and night, and breakfast the following morning it was just fabulous. The staff made it just perfect! Would highly recommend.

From start to finish I had a wonderful time here . The staff at the hotel are lovely , from the friendly and welcoming reception staff to the brilliantly funny and helpful bar/restaurant team , they all couldn't have been nicer. My room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The food was great . But my highlight was the spa , I was immediately relaxed as I walked in , the girls in the spa are lovely and the range of treatments are fantastic. I had a hot stone back massage and it was wonderful, then I used the steam room , the sauna , the footspa, the jacuzzi and the chill room was exactly that. I'm looking forward to my next visit ☺️

Good food from the carvery, accompanied with some excellent wine. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Gary and Maxine made me feel most welcome, they were both excellent. I would highly recommend staying in the Bridge hotel.

I organised an event at the Bridge hotel and spa for 103 people. I required a two course Sunday lunch followed by tea or coffee to be served for all 103 people within one hour. We had a choice of beef gammon, salmon or vegetarian lasagna With a choice of vegetables and of course Yorkshire pudding for those that had beef. We had a choice of two dessert cheesecake or sticky toffee pudding. |The food and service was amazing. Bearing in mind they had to serve 103 people and allow them time to eat all within one hour. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more.
