Really loved ou visit to the Bugle. Really welcoming people. Great atmosphere and quirky feel to the place. Our homemade pizzas were outstanding. Traditional pub feel not overly frilly, but still has class and warmth. Family area, log fire and great choice in beer.

A lovely, welcoming venue. Families with young children are catered for anytime throughout the day and evening. Prices are reasonable too.
I can highly recommend the burger meals and grilled chicken.
The desserts were amazing! Our favourites were the ice cream with waffles (shown) and chocolate tart with ice cream. They did not disappoint.
A huge thank you to the friendly, helpful staff who also catered for our SEND young person's particular food needs.

First time visit with family .Had the carvery and have to say everything was fantastic and well cooked. Good value. Also indoor soft play was a bonus for the little ones. Plenty of parking spaces.

Was recommended The Bugle for a Sunday carvery and very pleased that it loved up to our expectations. Quite busy so booking obviously a good move. As it was busy the food was replenished and hot. The staff were also knowledgeable about the food as my wife is veggie.
Well done to the Bugle team.

Excellent Carvery though the queue was very long , but goodness was the pub busy. Those not having the Carvery had to wait longer than we did. When they came the rest was fine. We got the last of the Turkey , but all the meat was beautifully cooked , just a shame about the Roasties sitting in a lot of oil. Would recommend though

After reading such good reviews we decided to give the carvery a go today, what a mistake, the room was stuffy and airless, made us feel like the walls were closing in on us, the carvery, well I would put it on par with the Sloop,one I would not wish to visit again! no crispy potatoes, overcooked vegetables that were obviously frozen to begin and not fresh, the ‘green beans’ had no green left in them at all, the carrots were rubbery, the cabbage was swimming in water, when I go out for a meal I do not expect to be eating frozen vegetables.
The atmosphere in the place was nothing to write home about, dull, stuffy, airless with sticky floors, we will NOT be returning!
