Avoid this place. |Disgusting dirty rooms. |We stayed here last night. We were provided no key to secure our room, no fob for the gate to get in.|Returned back and no answer from host to let us in had to climb the wall. |Barricaded the door due to no key. |Even for the price certainly not worth it. |The room was dirty with rugs covering stains, cobwebs and dust everywhere |No loo roll and the most awful smell throughout.

Avoid this place. Difficult to find and to even get in. Disgusting room, bed falling apart. Mismatched furniture. Dirty razer in the bathroom. Host didn't greet us, only by text. We stayed in the room for 10 minutes and left again.

The dirties place I have ever stayed! Firstly bad start when we arrived, the gates are broke so you have to open them manually by sliding a block of wood across the ground. The room was filthy, sticky floor, could see bare footprints all over the floor so clearly not mopped. Used cotton bud under the desk, the fabric on the chair was black with stains. The shower had so much mould we would have been dirtier after showering so didn’t dare go in it. The room stank a mixture of drains & faeces. I finally found the reason. (I’ve saved the best until last) The rug in the bathroom which touched the bottom of the toilet actually had faeces on it. Dogs barking at 6am. One German Shepard barking & then appeared loose one evening when we got back no owner in sight we quickly rushed into the property. Who knows if it would have attacked it just stood there barking at us. You will hear every word from people in the next room even their alarm constantly going off. There is nothing wrong with cheap & basic I don’t mind that but cheap & filthy is unacceptable.

Just stayed here as wanted to be reasonably close to Windsor. Bit difficult to find so had to ring and ask. Didn't realise a German Shepherd would be roaming the site, should be mentioned in description. In fairness he did bark a lot but was friendly when my friend fussed him. The main building looked ok, we stayed in a cabin type thing. The site itself is a bit like a building yard, not very scenic. It was quiet when we stayed and the cabin had everything we needed really. Friend wasn't keen but I didn't mind it too much. Private parking to the front with a key fob for gate. About twenty minutes from Windsor. All the b&bs were full there, hence this property. Cheap and would suit young people who don't care so much about the surroundings. Guy was nice enough who greeted us.

We were a group of 5 who stayed here Saturday 16/10/21 after a day at Thorpe park. What can I say, such a lovely place, no frills whatsoever but did exactly what it said on the tin. There's two beautiful dogs who live on the premises extremely large and a little intimidating but don't let this fool you, they were both darlings and I loved them, we all loved them and they wanted lots of fuss which they got from me in spade loads. We met one of the female owner on the day of departure who was lovely and pretty friendly too, I didn't catch her name but she's a lovely lady. This accommodation is not at all expensive in fact it's practically free so take this in to account when booking. It's not the ritz but u get more than what u pay for, clean rooms and fresh bedding with a quiet comfy stay. My only moan and it's not a major one was the floors squeaked on every floor but as it's an old property I guess it's to be expected. We will definitely be staying here more often as it's perfect for those on a budget needing a warm bed. I would definitely recommend as a cheap low budget but fully functional stay over.

Had a good stay, the host was very nice. We arrived earlier than expected and so the house wasn't fully ready e.g. cleaned but that's mostlh forgivable in my opinion. The rooms were nice and the beds were very comfy. We were dreading going after reading the reviews on our way there, but it is not as bad as it is made out to be. Yes there's a german shephard who is an absolute softie and didn't actually come near us so if you're scared of dogs this is still a great place to stay we never once saw or heard the other dog. The only things that bring this place down a bit is cleanliness, so the cups in our rooms weren't clean and the bathroom wasn't that good either, also that it is in fact the owners house you stay in and the bathrooms are shared needs to be made clearer. However, overall we had a good stay!

Me and my friend booked this residence as it was close to Thorpe Park and the pictures looked beautiful. We called ahead to say we would be booking in a bit late as I had to work. It said check in was up to 10PM and we arrived at 7:30PM. When I rang the buzzer the lady that answered told me I was taking the P* and told me to F* Off then hung up. We buzzed again and said again that we had paid for a room, I was sworn at again and was asked if I wanted to sleep on her livingroom floor and again was told to f*** off before she ket out a big dog to the gate that was barking at us. We got hold of the manager who then said it must of been the housekeeper. We were let in by the managers son who took us to our room, we already felt very uncomfortable but we had nowhere else to go. We were told that we could only go out the front of the property so all the pictures that were advertised we were not allowed anywhere near. I saw the housekeeper in her underware which was a shock. We were chased by a massive dog as well and had to ask the managers son to come and help us. At 1AM we were woken to shouting, swearing and slamming of doors after the housekeeper was abusing the other guests that were staying there. We were told that we could be seen through our window as well which was unnerving as we were on top floor and had got undressed. We had paid for 2 nights but got out of the place as soon as we could and did not go back for the 2nd night. The manager although we did not see her did give us a full refund. I would avoid this horror hostel like the plague unless you want to be abused and tormented. They should not be running a business at all. I am traumatised by the whole experience and it completely ruined my weekend.
