First off we had to wait 25 minutes for 4 milkshakes and an extra 5 for the latte.

And when the latte came we ordered the love latte which should have pink cream and pink milk and a cherry on top.as it came out he gave us a normal latte with no pink milk and normal cream which he put no effort into because he forgot the cherry.We sent it back and he put 2 strawberries without the tops cut off.
He then came back and said that he can remake it with pink cream and milk after saying they had none left.They were extremely short staffed I only saw 3.different staff members.They gave us a normal latte for the price of the love one.We don’t bother sending it back because we had plans which were already being pushed for time after the wait.

The atmosphere,
In the eating area we had a speaker near our seat which was broken and kept stopping that was very irritating.

Other than that the milkshakes where delicious other than the wait.

We hope if we return soon tgat we have much better service..

I visited Caffeine Club today with the intention of grabbing a quick bacon, sausage, and egg bap before heading home. I had approximately 45 minutes to spare, so I thought it would be a convenient option. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.

After placing my order and paying £5.45, I waited for 40 minutes before receiving my food. Upon inspection, I discovered that my order was incorrect; I was given a simple bacon bap consisting of two slices of bacon in a brioche bun. This was not what I ordered.

I returned to the counter to clarify my order and was informed that it appeared I had not paid for the additional items (sausage and egg). I was told that each extra item would cost £1.50, bringing the total to £8.45. Given the lengthy wait time and the fact that I had already extended my parking, incurring an additional £3.50 charge, I expressed concern about waiting even longer.

The staff member at the till was understanding and offered to reduce the additional cost to £1 as a gesture of goodwill. I appreciated this courtesy, which was the primary reason I rated the service three stars. However, I still found the overall pricing to be quite steep, especially when compared to the cost of a full breakfast.

Ultimately, I did enjoy the bap when it was finally prepared correctly, but the extended wait time, pricing concerns, and initial order error left me feeling disappointed with my experience.

I hope this feedback can help improve the service for future customers.

The menu used to be cheap and cheerful. Massive portions of bland food at student prices. Not any more. It's a great menu, still studenty in that its comfort food but it's all done really nice.*Amended below.
The portions are still very generous. Yes you still get your 2 pint milkshakes and your tankard of tea. But there is more quality there now.

The venue itself is really nice and cosy too. The seating is nice with big soft booth type tables for groups and there are even wood burners for heating which adds to the warm feel.

The staff too always seem friendly and happy to help. They can be busy at times as it's just so popular. I have had a few things missing the few times I've been there recently but this has been sorted without much hassle.

Picture below are some "pizza fries" cheesy chips with loads of toppings. Chicken strips and some sort of burger. It was my mate's burger and I didn't think to ask. A kinderella shake. Sooo good.

I have dropped my score to a 3 star after coming here multiple times recently. I have had some shocking food. Whilst the atmosphere is still nice and cosy and the staff still seem friendly, the poor food quality means I will stop going.

As an example, I ordered a burger one day and this came in a rock hard stale bun. So this was either frozen and then defrosted and they didn't notice or they noticed it was stale and thought toasting it would hide the staleness, which of course it did not. Another gripe is the menu and the fact the burger comes with chips but doesn't say and so I ordered some extra chips for another fiver or so. A small gripe perhaps but the menu has changed so that there are a bunch of options for chips such as the pizza fries or these saucy ones I ordered. This isn't too big of a deal other than it seems to be something people do often by mistake and the staff never seem to mention it to anyone ordering. - In there defence when I complained about the burger and said I wasn't eating it, I asked for a cup of tea and a desert instead, they obliged. That was just very lacklustre too. But they did try and you have to appreciate that.

My main complaint here, would be the inconsistency. One mistake or missing thing wouldn't be an issue. But we have been here enough recently to realise even if you order the same thing two days in a row, you simply don't know what you'll get. Even if you are sat at the same table and order the same thing, it may come out looking different and your left wondering if you have got the right order. If they don't have stuff on , it may be left out or substituted. If its stale, you may be served it anyway. It is just not a great experience.

Came for a oat hot chocolate and I wasn’t disappointed. Really yum but could’ve gone heavier on the marshmallows. Great service, tables less sticky than I remember which is good. A fun vibe, also good music.

The cookie dough dessert tasted amazing, the portion was big so it’s better to share it with others. The burger set was average. I think I’d try another dish next time. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant. The price is also reasonable.

Been several times and normally good in all aspects. However, visit today was really disappointing. Took 45 minutes to get food when the place only had 3 tables filled (including ours) at the point of placing the order. Others who came in after were served their food before. Food quality is good, but it seems the kitchen is understaffed.
