We stayed for two nights, and it was a great experience. The rooms were warm and cozy, and the English breakfast was tasty. The location is quiet but convenient, with a pub and a fish-and-chips shop nearby. Parking is available, which was very helpful.

Suggestions:

• It would be nice if they accepted Amex cards.
• Adding online payment options like Stripe would make paying easier and more secure.

A lovely stay overall!

We checked into the hotel at 10 p.m., and the room's window was open. It was 0 degrees outside, and it was snowing. We closed the window, but before the room could warm up, the heating system turned off, and we spent the whole night shivering from the cold. The beds were worn out and uncomfortable. In summary, we only used it to sleep, and it was a bad experience.

When first arriving the carpark was easy to access and the key was in key safe and was quite easy to obtain.|Room was clean and stocked with tea making facilities, bottled water and complimentary toiletries. However the towels smelt fusty and the shower cubical was black and tiles were not fitted very professionally.|Breakfast was booked for 9am but people before us ran over which because there isnt room enough in the dining room to accommodate every room we understood and so we didnt end up eating till 9.30am then when we was served the breakfast certainly did not look as advertised and when asked for another jug of milk they had ran out, and beans was forgotten off one Breakfast as when taking order the person hadnt written it down and it was only sausage bacon and beans on two orders out of three, the third plate was as attached photo which was egg bacon beans and 3 of the tiniest button mushrooms i had ever seen. Overall was disappointed by the whole experience as not what expected, after staying in a lot nicer b&bs not bigging themselves up to be 4 star can honestly say this establishment is not up to scratch.

It's just 35 minutes walking distance from the town and allows you to know the surroundings. Free parking.

Dirty, broken furniture, ripped bed sheets, dirty toilet, splashes on walls, chairs, crumbs on table and draws, just filthy.Garden not accessible as per the photograph.|3 sachets of coffees for 3 people in 3 days and no replacements.|Damp smelling towels and no replacements either.|Reported upon arrival but only via the contact number as noone available to speak to face to face, to be told there are no other rooms to switch to and then after leaving and emailing again about the complaint, to be told no phone call was made to them and they were unaware. |However contrary to being unaware, the second person who was emailing agreed the property is in need to a deep clean!

We were very happy with our stay. Room was comfortable and clean. En Suite was also clean. Breakfast was all you needed, and the chef was quite happy to accommodate people’s needs. |The pub, which was next door, but one, was very reasonably priced and good food, so that was a bonus, it was good to come and go as you pleased, and although there wasn’t actually a reception, you looked after yourselves, which wasn’t a problem, but there was help, I believe, 24 /7. |Would be very happy to return, and hopefully will do at some point .

This B&B was average. Clean, nicely decorated but lacking in a few comfort. |I was in room 3 on the ground floor. The room looked straight out onto the front driveway where everybody walked and could also be seen from the road. The window was large and there was no privacy at all unless you drew the main curtains and put the light on, which is what I had to do even in the middle of the day. |The ceiling in this room was v badly water stained from the shower in the room above. It needed a coat of paint. The bathroom, shower and toilet were clean. |People had said breakfast was great! There were 2 lads doing breakfast. No menu so we weren't told what was on offer. I wanted poached eggs but was told they didn't do poached. We all had scrambled eggs. A couple of spoonfuls on a plate. My friend asked for bacon and 1 solitary slice was also on the plate. Very soggy toast that was barely warm was on a separate plate. The people who came in afterwards wanted eggs and were told they had run out. Poor show for breakfast would not recommend a cok breakfast stick to cereal and milk. No decaffeinated tea either. |
