A classy refurbished gastro-pub with a few rooms and a lovely dining area.
Refurbished with some style & retaining some of the period feel of the original pub.
You need to be careful of some of the (thoughtfully padded) low doorways when accessing the rooms!
The bar had a couple of decent real ales on, alongside the usual keg stuff & the restaurant serves lovely food with a nice choice of winesπŸ‘
The dining area can open up through large folding doors in the summer & I'm sure it must get busy!
Worth going for the food & clearly aimed at the dining experience.
Well-presented & tasty food - had a great experience overall!
Stay & enjoy a quality cooked breakfast πŸ‘

This pub is very welcoming: there are several tables that are positioned in the correct way to optimize the space and give customers some privacy. The food is excellent even if the menu does not offer many options. Good variety of beers. The service is quick and efficient. The parking inside the pub is not very large. Very recommended for evenings with friends and families.

Really enjoyed it as a young family. Nice ambience, friendly attentive staff without being overbearing, similar other diners and excellent food. Perhaps a bit expensive but probably worth it for the overall experience. Thank you

Very disappointing. We went for dinner, the service was poor, not slow just incompetent, they took the drinks order and brought the wrong cocktails. Then while my wife was in the toilet they came and pressured me to order our food.
Once we had ordered they got the main courses wrong and said it'd be another 20mins to re-cook them. The food was very very salty, arguably too salty.
The waiting on staff were just standing around behind the bar laughing and joking and as people left the tables remained uncleared or cleaned and the floor covered in food.
This used to be a wonderful place to eat and we've been there several times before but after our recent visit I think we'll avoid it.

Lovely meal, great setting, staff were friendly. Lack of clarity on nibbles being included in the 2/3 course deal. Especially the Camembert option that was worthy of a starter at the price and size offered.
