Visited the Spa as a Christmas Treat for me and my partner. We were met with the most wonderful young receptionist (we didn’t catch her name!) who ensured our experience was great throughout. Our treatments were fantastic and relaxing, followed by a dip in the pool and Jacuzzi where we spoke with others who were also enjoying a Christmas treat!

The setting was fantastic. We were treated to lunch which was delicious (the home cooked ham was fresh gammon!). A very well run establishment and Spa Day, fantastic value and a setting you can’t beat.

Visited Castle Spa with my best friend today and we both enjoyed the hour long Dermlogica facial with Lucy and Alex. We had booked the treatments alongside each other and we were not disappointed. Wow! We have both had facials many times both home and abroad, but our treatments today with Lucy and Alex are up there with the best! Everything we had hoped for and wanted. We both felt so relaxed and our our skin looked fabulous. With an Indian head massage with shoulders and neck included plus hand and arm massage it was hard to decided our favourite bits. Massive value for money and just a lovely time. Thank you Lucy and Alex - a credit to your profession. xx

I am happy to travel a two hour round trip to come to this salon, the body treatment is amazing, even Ragdale Hall can't top this one, and I've been going there 3/4 of my life! Can't recommend Lucy and her girls enough, Lucy's high standards in training makes for each of her staff to be equally good. A small but perfectly formed salon with an equally good bistro to fall into afterwards when your so zoned out you need a moment!

Had a fantastic day with a simply spa experience last week. The staff were so friendly and welcoming throughout the day. We had a very good relaxing massage followed by a light lunch. There was lots of choices for lunch. See photos and the food was lovely. We then used the spa facilities that were clean, there were hairdryers in the changing areas and we made use of the mini spin dryer for our swimming costumes. I would highly recommend coming for a treat.

Beautiful setting and treatment rooms. The full body massage by Emily was incredible - just the right pressure for me. So novel to not have my shoulders by my ears now! Fantastic spring offer upgrading pedicure to shellac for free. I literally floated out of the Spa. The ultimate relaxation and friendly service. Thanks again Emily!

Myself and my husband have just had body scrub and back, neck and shoulder massage with Emily. My goodness, this girl is worth her weight in gold and then some! Absolutely what we needed. The massage itself was the perfect amount of pressure, the warm water mat was a real treat and the hot towels were so comforting. I truly cannot recommend Emily enough. I’m 5’1” and my husband is 6’5” yet she managed to give us both exactly what we needed. I wish we lived a little closer so that I could book in with her every month - because I most certainly would. A real treat. Thank you Emily, you are amazing x
