The Chateau - Great Yarmouth

We have just returned from our second visit to The Chateau. We had a wonderful stay. Both Richard and Jacqui were genuinely welcoming at all times. Richard was very patient and answered all our questions. The breakfasts that Jacqui cooked were amazing and the 5 star rating is very well deserved.||Our rooms were very comfortable. There was ample room in the cupboards and chest of drawers for all our things.||We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return one day.

Had a brilliant stay at The Chateau in Great Yarmouth. We had a sea view on the first floor and the room was spacious and spotless with the most comfy bed we didn’t want to get up in the morning. The breakfast was plentiful with extra toast and Tea if required. The hoist are Jackie and Richard a lovely couple, nothing was too much trouble and would come and have a chat after breakfast making sure throughout your stay that everything was satisfactory. We will definitely be booking this Hotel next year, and looking forward to seeing both again.

Where do I even start with this amazing place! Only a 1 minute walk to the seafront / britannia pier, the location can't be better.

Rooms are comfortable and clean, all with kettles, tv's and bathrooms. Rooms have physical keys (not keycards, anyways I don't think they'd fit the old style of the place).

Parking is free for guests staying, or paid for one-day visitors to the town for £8.

Breakfast is cooked fresh by Jackie, whilst Richard serves and takes orders (and the credit). Whether you're after a full english, scrambled eggs or kippers, Jackie will be able to cook it!

Whilst there is no bar in the hotel, it is fully licensed and alcohol / drinks can be ordered for in the lounge or in rooms.

I will definitely be returning soon! (either with my family or perhaps someone else in the future, idk yet)

We stayed for 5 days & nights recently to celebrate my wife's 60th Birthday. The Chateau was recommended to us by friends that had stayed there. The owners Jackie & Richard were wonderful, so friendly, welcoming & genuinely helpful & could not do enough for us. The rooms were excellent, with everything we could need & so clean. The breakfasts were amazing, perfectly cooked by Jackie & complimented by Richards witty repartee.' We certainly intend to go back again, to stay at the earliest opportunity. It is so well situated, close to the beach, restaurants, bars & shops.

Stayed for 2 nights. We arrived early on the Saturday and greeted by Richard who was fantastic allowing us to check-in early and park. Lovely clean room, bathroom on the small side but clean and functional. Our room was on the front so had a great view of the sea. Breakfast was tasty, cooked to order. Hosts Richard and Jackie were very friendly and welcoming couldn't do enough for you. Great location only a short 5 minute walk to Britannia Pier. When back in Great Yarmouth will definitely be staying here again

The pillows were very comfortable at all times bedroom was always clean just can't fault anything from the time we arrived just everything was perfect me and my husband felt it was like a second home highly recommend to friends to visit there

The room was very good and had lots of space lovely view over park and sea front Richard and Jackie looked after us very well and we will be coming back again the breakfast was very good . Parking was easy and always had a place to park room was very clean

This place has it all. Excellent location, accommodation and Amazing Hosts. That's before you even get to try the Breakfast and WoW that's something else as well. I could not fault Richard and Jackie in any way . Looking forward to my next stay ,I hope its not to long away .
