We had a wonderful evening here with friends. The staff are very professional and personable. There is a lovely atmosphere and we noticed how spacious the tables feel. Delicious food with an outstanding choice on the menu. Including a great children's menu. Swift and polite service and a great setup for family and friends, conversation, and interaction. No telly to distract you, and the tables are speed so that you don't overheard other people's conversations. The buzz of chat and laughter in a restaurant was so refreshing. Thank you to all the staff who made my birthday meal with family something to remember and recommend to others.

Visited The Chequers for the first time to celebrate my Mum's Birthday . We opted to go straight for the Mains - I chose a rump steak from the specials and she went for chicken goujons.
It was one of the best steaks I have ever had !
Accompanied with fries, onion rings a mushroom, grilled tomatoes and peas, it was cooked to perfection. My Mum's meal was of equal quality and thoroughly enjoyed. This was followed by the butterscotch tart, again yummy.
The staff were pleasant and attentive and also engaged in a little banter which I enjoy.
We will be back !!

Second time we've been for a family meal. Again the food was delicious with generous portion sizes. The customer service was friendly and on point too. This is a real gem of a traditional lincolnshire pub with a great menu and a lovely selection of gins too.

Lovely meals, great value for money. The gazebo was great...anything with pretty lights looks great at night too. We've been twice - once in the cold in May and once in July. Not been disappointed on either visit and will definitely go again
