We booked to stay at The Church House and I'm so glad we did. After a much longer journey than expected due to traffic, we were met with an extremely warm welcome and a glass of wine. Fina made us feel extremely welcome from the first moment - recommending some great local restaurants too. The room was beautiful with a free standing bath - and the bed was super-comfy. Breakfast each morning was cooked to perfection - with a beautifully prepared fruit salad to start. It is by far the best B&B we have stayed in and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much Fina!

The house is absolutely gorgeous, furnished with exquisite taste and the rooms are incredibly comfortable, spacious and with beautiful linen. Certainly not the average B&B. We were greeted with such incredible warmth by Fina, making us immediately feel like we were at home. Freshly baked cakes were at our disposition and when I told her that I was coeliac, Fina promptly made a cake just for me !! I do not even know of a 5 star hotel that would go to all that trouble !! And the breakfast was just amazing, even with freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit salad. What more can I say .... SUPERB !

I was fortunate to be a guest at a local shoot (Cowdrays) and my hosts had booked The Church House for dinner bed and breakfast last Sunday evening. From the minute you go through the front door you are made to feel incredibly welcome and literally nothing is too much for the simply awesome front of house hostess Fina and her team. The rooms are of the highest possible standard: great linens, fabulous bath products, outstanding dinner and breakfast. I would love to come back here - what a wonderful place.

We booked all rooms of the bnb for our wedding Aug/Sept 2017. We had booked almost a year in advance and our reservation was fine. I did contact the owner a couple of months before to check in given how early we'd booked which I would recommend if you book far in advance. ||||The house is absolutely stunning and so creatively and tastefully decorated. You can see it has been put together with a great deal of love. Incredibly homely and comfortable but also elegant and a feeling of staying somewhere special and different. ||||Fina, the owner is such a lovely lady and was really hospitable as well as being a fantastic cook. The breakfast is seriously good, especially the home made granola and the freshly squeezed orange juice. ||||I would especially recommend the bnb for a group as it was really nice to have the place booked for us only i.e. When using the living area to chill and for breakfasts but I'm sure it would also be nice to stay as a guest with others as the rooms are big and there is a feeling of privacy especially with the Gaudi Suite. ||||Can not recommend this enough - brilliant!!

What an incredible property! The rooms and the property have been done so nicely it was luxurious to stay. The owners were unreal and so welcoming that It made you settle in immediately. I was expecting quite a low key breakfast but Fina put out everything you could imagine with a cooked breakfast to your request. Wonderful stay in a charming town.

The stay here was perfect, absolutely perfect from start to finish. Everything from the stunning and stylish interiors to the charming lady who runs it and her amazing cooking!! The breakfast in particular was amazing, I had a lovely cooked breakfast and also had some of the home baked honey granola. She had also baked a lovely sponge cake which was in the kitchen to have at any time. Small touches like this made it really homely.

Just home from the most amazing stay at The Church House. FIna is the most amazing host. The house is beautiful and beyond expectations. It's a home from home. We stayed in the Gaudi Suite. Beautiful. The house is stunning. FIna said make yourself at home. The house is yours. She literally meant that! Breakfast was everything you needed. She makes this what it is. Her experience with hospitality shines through. The most relaxing and comfortable weekend. We truly didn't want to leave. A perfect place for one night away, a family gathering or a weekend away. We would like to do all of these. Book up in advance. Not surprisingly she's fully booked. A luxury boutique hotel indeed!
