The beds were like water beds, so bloody soft, partner moved in bed u go flying off the bed. Pillows like rocks.
Had to flight with the toilet to get it to flush. Holes in the doors, rubbish and left behind by last guest. Cleaner needs to be sacked. Photos are 100% false. Walls are paper thin , views are amazing... dirt and brick walls.
Got woken up at 08.30am by the sound
Of builders, not informed of this at the time of booking. Nice for the owner to tell the over paying customer.
Was not impressed. My dogs beds are cleaner than this hotel.
As soon as I got home I throw everything in the wash as I think there was bugs in the room.

Absolutely awful, very dirty, no hot water, had to use bathroom sink to fill up the kettle. Mould in the bathroom .Holes in the walls. Hardly got any sleep as it was to noisy from other people in their rooms and outside. No changed bed sheets or clean towels for three days. No cleaning was done. Hotel is nothing like the pictures. Tea, coffee, sugar and toilet rolls just chucked on the floor. Room and bathroom absolutely stunk mugs in room to make tea, coffee have not been changed. . Would definitely not stay here again. Avoid staying here . Very false advertising.

I don’t think i have ever stayed in such a unloved hotel before. Rooms where dated and unclean, mould on the windows so so dated not that is a problem but it was all falling apart. No reception just a code for the rooms so wasn’t very secure. No breakfast option. Every floorboard creeks. No hot water. Carpet pealing rooms really smelt. Walls were thin like news paper. Paint peeling badly and are all different colours, few stains on the pillows and sealing stained by a leek toilet roll holder was put in upside down toilet sounds like a petrol engine generator when filing up. Only good think was the location. Also no parking. No any staff in sight. Loud pub close at the end of the road so was loud all night. What a disgrace. Best part was leaving. A real shame. The real question is should this be on hotel nightmares?

Would rate negative stars if I could. The whole place was EXTREMELY dated which wouldn’t have mattered if it was at least clean. There were holes in the wall, the shower was dark and dingy with broken tiles. The bed had a huge dip in the middle making it impossible to sleep. We had to lay the wrong way round in the bed to ease the discomfort a little but was still dreadful. My partner now has bites all over her which are extremely painful and appeared after sleeping on the bed. Not surprising given how dirty it was. Damp ceilings. Locks didn’t feel secure as they were simply a key code which previous guests probably still have access to. No chairs on balcony. We laid a blanket on it but it was TINY and full of dirt and cigarette butts (we’d paid extra for it as well). Guests in neighbouring balconies could EASILY step onto ours meaning we couldn’t safely leave balcony doors open. It was genuinely the most disgusting waste of money hotel I’ve ever stayed in and ruined the whole trip to be honest.

The location of the hotel is great - very close to the sea - you can even see it out the window. Although the room was clean, the bedside lamp was not working and we did not have the plug for the bath. We have reported it and were told that it will be fixed first thing next morning and it was not fixed. Overall okay, but could be a lot better.

I stayed here with a friend for the weekend, as we were completing the 32 mile walk for EACH. I wish we had booked somewhere else. ||||Our room was up 3 flights of stairs and at the front of the property. It was super hot in the room, so we needed the window open. The street noise from neighbouring pubs was terrible. There's nothing like hearing people puke at midnight! At least we knew where to dodge the next day. ||||The litter on the street outside was disgusting too and there was no parking to be had either. We ended up paying a fortune to park a mile away. ||||The room was tiny. There was a double bed and just enough space to walk around it. My friend and I held hand and stretched our arms put and we could touch both walls 😅 The bathroom was tiny too. Just a basic toilet, sink and shower. The shower had the same power as gentleman with a prostate problem and was luke warm at best. I felt cleaner before I got in. There were 3 sockets you could plug things into , if you unplugged the fan and kettle and TV. ||||Everything was done with codes, so you never saw a member of staff. So no personal service. ||||I wouldn't stay here again, and with the litter and puke, I'd avoid Great Yarmouth all together and visit Caiser or Walcott nearby instead.

Stayed here 2018 and was good. Now sadly reception free establishment with no breakfast option. Rooms basic but clean. However heating not adjustable and was running 24/7 even though 20 degrees outside! Rang to complain but nothing changed. Had to sleep with all window wide open and street can get noisy overnight. Shower run cold or scolding hot , no in between. Mirrors fitted at child height? Keypad locks means security dubious if leaving valuables unattended. But it is cheap and good location....

Horrible hole of a place.
Photos on website are from previous owners, this 'hotel' is more hovel. The photos are grossly misleading.
Unbelievably dirty, I found food under our bed, another reviewer found half empty pizza box in wardrobe!!!
We had to put towels under window as the draught was that bad.
The kettle didn't fit under the taps!
The bed was 6 inches from the ground, you could roll out and not realise!
If you have an issue they ask you to ring them as no staff stay on site (probably to avoid flea bites and angry guests!!). I left a message of complaint whilst on site and did not get a response.
Avoid this place, I've complained to Trading Standards.
Only positive was the glasses looked clean and we did have a bit of a sea view.
