Went to the spa for the olive experience and loved every second of it. The food was lovely and obviously of high quality. The sauna was quaint and relaxing. We also enjoyed the hot tube and relaxation room.
The only reason it loses a star is the steam room didn't work properly. Steam didn't generate and what little we had could escape under the door.
But would highly recommend the experience. Great value for money

Went to the Cleve and tried out the spa area. I had the most relaxing massage and facial by Christina at Enlighten your Essence. I followed this was a visit to the cafe for amazing cake and locally roasted coffee. It was such a peaceful and tranquil experience. Can highly recommend

the cafe is well situated with great views from both the dining room and the outside terrace. parking is easy and a flat walk away from the cafe. Shorna runs the cafe efficiently and it is bright and clean and not as dated as the spa. the food I've eaten has been good quality and nicely served. the warm cheese scones ( with or without cream cheese and pickle) are delicious. the hot chocolate even stripped of marshmallows and whipped cream is also delicious. coffee drinking friends are happy with the Braziers roast coffee. |a lovely place to sit over lunch especially when warm enough to be outside.

I went here for a spa experience, an experience it was but a ghastly one.|We were given grey looking towels one of us had to have it replaced twice as was soiled.|The changing facilities are communal , shower coming away from the wall, uneven flooring, 2 lights not working in the outer area, ceiling water marked, generally unkept.|The pool had algae , the spa was cloudy, windows were not clean , I could go on and on.|Don’t waste your money , it’s dreadful and a disgrace that they have the nerve to charge good money for such a ghastly experience. I wonder if the owners will even bother to respond to this review, they don’t appear to care.

Had afternoon tea here with my sister and really enjoyed it. A warm welcome was given, very polite and professional staff. The food was so nice and the surroundings were modern and smart. Thank you everyone, we will be back.

We have visited the cafe at The Cleve many times and this weekend we chose to go to The Cleve for food and drinks after our son's Christening with family and friends. The cafe has a perfect lunch menu, a variety of drinks on offer and is in a lovely setting. The staff were friendly and organised whilst we planned the event - we had pre-orded our food and requested prosecco on our arrival. Communication was great, everything was set up perfectly. Staff were attentive and food all came out at the same time, presented very nicely. We were very pleased that we chose the cafe at The Cleve for his special event.

Visited The.Cleve for the first time at the weekend and the afternoon tea did not disappoint. The room was spacious for 18 of us and we had exclusive use of it. ||The tea itself was delicious and plentiful. Sapna couldn’t do enough for us. She anticipated exactly what we needed and nothing was too much trouble. All dietaries were taken care of and there was plenty spare too. ||Zara and Freya (new to the team) were also great. ||The only tiny suggestion I’d make is that the plates to be cleared when we’d finished eating and whatever was left to be placed to one side, allowing guests to chat freely without a cake stand in the way but this is a minor detail. ||Didn’t see much of the rest of the building so cannot comment and we were only there for about four/five hours. We had a fab time. Thanks Sapna and team for looking after us so well.

Had the get muddy spa experience and feel I have wasted my money.
Positive - the food in the cafe and overall upstairs ion the restaurant is lovely.

Downstairs - The whole spa itself is grotty, dirty, run down and tired looking. Each element of the spa (sauna, steam room, swimming pool, jacuzzi, treatment spa room) just grossed me out due to how dirty it looked. Tape on the ceiling, the walls falling apart, algae and mould in the cracks and tiles, foaming in the jacuzzi, unpleasant smell all around.
The spa is oddly laid out down old worn down carpeted corridors and up dirty concrete steps.
It Did not feel relaxing one bit and actually made me feel uncomfortable and I wanted to leave as soon as possible.
The muddy experience was not great. Again the treatment room was dirty, old and not pleasant to be in. The showers were cold.
The towels provided were smelly and old (frayed).
Honestly a waste of money and felt more stressed after the experience.
