I had a pedicure & the therapist took too much off my toenails, causing my nails to go sensitive.

When I went back an hour later to tell them about the issue, the spa manager asked me if I had had recent nail injuries causing the pain - which I didn't. And then asked me what I'd done during the hour after leaving the salon - Implying it was something I had done to myself. She said the sensitivity wasn't the pedicure & my nails look fine.

So excuse the toe photos, but I want to show how short I'm now dealing with and the obvious irritation. The bottom photo is how they were done at Cliveden.

I wear my nails feminine, with some length. I did NOT ask for my nails to be filed very short or filed off completely. I had lovely toe nails before and now they're sore and ugly.

LOOK AT THE ACTUAL STATE OF THEM.

You're not meant to cut big toenails round and so close to the nail bed, because it causes ingrowing toenails. Any qualified nail tech should know this.

Management (Holly) needs training in customer service; Its one thing making a mistake with a treatment & hurting a client, but for her to deny these nails are too short is a joke.

Lovely place great indoor and outdoor pool and hot tubs. Sadly some very noisy guests.Service is great. Will come again.

Spent £240 for 2 guess passes to come down for the day and sit by the pool with a friend and ended up standing around with no beds available by the pool for over an hour with absolutely no help from the staff at all when we asked them for help. There was no service or help given at all even after we spent all the money. Could have been a great day out but unfortunately due to the staff and lack of beds available I’m not quite sure what I paid for!

We spent here half a day on a weekday. Very few people around and we enjoyed the relaxing environment, the indoor pool, sauna and steam room, hot tubs and outdoor swimming pool. Strong wi-fi if you ever need to check your emails while staying in the café. We had a slight issue with a booking, but the staff very kindly resolved it in the best possible way. Very pleased and surely will be back.

Dated and the shower might burn you hard if you’re not careful. Friendly staff. I would have give it 2 starts if it was cleaner.
