Came here for lunch last Sunday. The roast was really lacklustre. The pork was dry, potatoes big and soft, the veg was pretty bland, only the Yorkshire puddings really saved it to be honest. Most of us had the fish and chips which were fine. The batter was quite thick and greasy and the mushy peas advertised arrived as garden peas, not a major problem for most of us, but one person did ask for it to be corrected and the staff were a bit funny about it.

The desserts were a bit more inspiring but took a long time to arrive. Service was generally a bit on the slow side though most of the people working seemed very pleasant.

Honestly probably a lovely place to stop for a drink or two but I wouldn't come back for food.

Having worked in the Stamford area for the last 2 years. The Collyweston Slater has become my favorite place to stay.
Amie and her team are brilliant and they always have a warm welcome. The rooms are smart, tidy and cozy and the food is second to none.

It's also in a great location close to Stamford if anyone is ever attending events taking place in and around the town.

Nice welcoming village pub, Typical pub grub menu. Main criticism the steak was over cooked and chewy and for £27 I’d expect a decent quality piece of meat.
I did mention to the staff twice that there was no soap in the ladies but still it was not attended…

Visited this pub yesterday for lunch for the first time.
Lovely place. Good service.
The pork roast was nice but the slices were very thin and didn't really taste of much as a result
The veg and yorkie were lovely

Stayed here as working locally. And the website really sold the venue.
Great pub, staff were very friendly. Really good local pub. Great choice of beers and hand pulled Ales.
The breakfast was fantastic!! The sausages were farm shop quality!
The room was great, air con and a decent shower!

Will certainly stay again if working in the area again!

Really enjoyable stay.
The staff where fantastic, and the manager Amy was a delight and couldn't do enough for us.
Really lovely setting and a fantastic night's sleep. Room even had great air-conditioning so super comfortable in the room.
The breakfast was excellent and again service top.notch.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. We were able to park our motorhome on the car park overnight enabling us to sample the excellent ale on offer and delicious, freshly cooked food. The overall feel was fun and friendly. Would def recommend.
