Stayed in the triple ensuite room in their cottage behind the hotel. Good choice of breakfast. Perfect base for exploring Perthshire. June, the owner, was wonderful and our 13yr old daughter has said she will miss her!

Stayed 2 nights on way up to Fort William. June the owner was very welcoming and shown us to our room which was warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was pre-ordered day before. There was a wide choice to choose plus choice of eating time. Large carpark. We had a great nights sleep and in the morning June welcomed us for breakfast. Everything was served nice and hot. We even stayed again the following week on our reverse journey back home. Although there is no bar or evening meals at the hotel it is a great hotel. Will definitely stay again if visiting Scotland.

A great hotel with a friendly and welcoming owner.|Good points - Room is clean and has cute complimentary shampoo/bodywash.|Breakfast was superb. Lovely fresh fruit and yogurts followed by a very tasty scottish breakfast. |June the owner was so welcoming and friendly and attentive to us. |A great wee hotel.|Not so good points - Our room was a wee bit tired in the fact the carpet could be doing with being replaced as it is well worn. Mattress was a was too soft for my liking.||Ultimately a smashing find in Comrie and will make the effort to return.

The Comrie hotel is a lovely independent hotel in a wonderful old Victorian building in Comrie village on the edge of the Trossachs National park in the southern Highlands of Scotland. The village of Comrie is centrally placed between Perth, Sterling and the Trossachs National park. For film buffs its worth mentioning that Doune Castle is not far away and that was where Game of Thrones, Outlander and Monty Pythons Holy Grail were filmed. On a day off my son and I drove to Glen Coe which is a beautiful drive of about an hour and a half, the scenery is so stunning it doesn't seem that long mind. The village has basic amenities but what you cant find here can be found in Crieff which is a short drive in the direction of Perth. the hotel is on the edge of the village, I say edge but in reality it will only take you a minute to walk into the centre. Its quirky in it's décor and a tiny bit faded in places but in a nice way, think Bag Puss (for non UK residents you will need to Goole that). The staff are very friendly and always happy to chat about the village and what's worth seeing in the locality. The breakfast was a particular highlight for me. Tell anyone outside of the city boundary of Edinburgh that you are a Vegan and at best you will be eyed with suspicion and at worst chased out of town with flaming torches and pitch forks. To my delight the Comrie does an excellent Vegan Scottish breakfast, it does Veggie too and for "normal people" there is a full range of products made from recently deceased farm animals. The bar and restaurant were closed for renovation when we visited alas but if the food and drink is as good as the breakfast then I am sure it will be great. I can highly recommend the Comrie hotel, it's the antidote to soulless chain hotels and a warm welcome is guaranteed.

Stayed here for 1 night, was booked for me.||I believe the hotel is being done up at the moment as no evening meal was available and it wasn’t possible to get anything other than a sandwich from the nearby Morrisons as the chip shop was closed.|Owner is very friendly and a pleasure to chat with and even sat out breakfast for us in the morning.|Room was very warm and due to shutters I couldn’t allow any cool air in the room without keeping the shutters open, bin in room hadn’t been emptied and the carpet is a tad threadbare and needing replaced.||Parking available on site and EV charging just along the street (you may find non EV’s using the spaces though)||The hotel has a nice feel, just a shame it was let down by a few simple things.

The hotel was really lovely. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. My partner and I arrived much earlier than anticipated in order to climb Ben Chonzie and we were allowed to check-in straight away. The room was nice and comfortable and had all the amenities you would want. They even brought the takeaway we had ordered up to the room for us! The hotel was nice and quiet in the evening and we got a great sleep. In the morning, we were treated to such a wonderful breakfast (and sent on our way with a box of the best strawberries I've ever tasted). Thank you for everything, and we'd recommend you in a heartbeat.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Comrie. We stayed in one of the ‘garden rooms’ (separate from the main hotel) which had its own entrance to easily access the carpark. It was very quiet, scrupulously clean, and everything was provided that we could possibly need. ||The owner and her daughter could not have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. They were on hand to help with anything, without being intrusive. || ||The breakfasts were delicious, so beautifully prepared, with so much choice. ||The hotel carpark is large and easy to access. ||||The hotel is right on the route of the ‘Glen Lednock Circular’ walk, which is a lovely walk from Comrie, via wooded glens, hillsides and forest. The hotel is perfectly placed for visiting Perthshire, with beautiful countryside and scenic drives all around.

Wonderfully friendly hotel with very comfortable rooms . A little gem in the heart of Comrie . Breakfast was delicious and very filling. Nothing was a problem. Very highly recommended. We stayed in one of the outside cottage rooms and my daughter and her husband stayed inside hotel . Parking was no problem either . 10/10 for location , hospitality, food and comfort of rooms . We will definitely return .
