Stayed here recently and unfortunately, it wasn’t the best experience. The room was damp, fittings were loose, and cleanliness was definitely lacking. The bed sheets were questionable at best—I tried to play a game of "Guess the Stain", but honestly, I’d rather not know the answer.

The car park was in a bit of a state too, which didn’t help the first impression. Overall, I’d really recommend giving this place a refresh.

I have to say this is the worst place I’ve seen in my life, absolutely terrible service.

I needed to book a place urgently so I booked with this unprofessional hotel online

When I arrived at the place, they said you needed photo ID which I didn’t have it on me at the time so I said can I please get a refund as I need to book another place and one the of the staff members said do it through booking.com and we’ll get you refunded.

I issued my refund and gave the hotel and call and said please can you confirm my refund and they refused.

They had this really rude, bad mannered, arrogant staff member who was very unprofessional and the worst customer service I’ve heard in my life.

They kept my money and are not refunding me even though I did not step into the room I booked once and they not reimbursing me with anything and just keeping my money.

I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel is out dated, needs painting and the rooms are really old and carpets really dirty. Would only use this hotel to sleep nothing else, bathrooms ok shower door damaged and walls could do with re painting. Lift not working

The very friendly service on reception does not make up for the fact that this hotel is falling to pieces. Bed was ok, but carpet is falling to bits and walls need painting. Toilet in room 107 is not even attached to the floor. The staff need a pay rise and the hotel needs demolishing.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a long weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The leafy, peaceful location is easily accessible from the city centre, and the lounge/foyer is both comfortable and quiet—a great spot to relax. The staff were wonderful, consistently friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the water was always hot with excellent pressure. Although they seem to be renovating parts of the hotel, I was neither disturbed nor disappointed. I’m very glad to have found this place!

The hotel is a disgrace. The owner is extremely rude and has no consideration for people who have disabilities. The rooms are terrible and the tv’s don’t even work. The kettle was disgusting with dirt and goodness knows what else inside it. There was a leak in the bathroom from the room above and the two other rooms available weren’t fit for a rat let alone people. It smells awful throughout the whole hotel. Spend your money elsewhere, the staff are rude and they lie. When concerns are raised you’re met with ignorance at best and at worst a bad attitude being told the faults of the hotel are down to you.

Downstairs is like some kind of show house, looking sparkly and clean but as soon as you get to a room, it’s terrible. There are loose wires and visible electrical working that is a health and safety hazard.

The bathroom was even worse. Mould and mildew all around the shower screen and stains all over the floor. The carpet in the actual room is no better.

Awful hotel. Wish I had checked Google reviews before booking. Left the hotel 30mins after checking due to horrible the room was and constant water running from the toilet. Not recommended!

Do not stay here if you value your health. This plus is a crack house. I stayed here because I had no choice as I had a meeting early morning and I booked this place by mistake. I didn't sleep at all , no heating , smell of damp, people shouting and arguing all night. The beds were stinking of god knows what. Do not go off the pictures on booking.com like I did.
