Limited gluten free options. That being said the server was so wonderful, very thorough and double checked what was coeliac safe for me to eat - was impressed by her hospitality, sadly don’t know her name. The soup was absolutely delicious - perfect for a cold day! Really enjoyed the tea too, we both had the CBD green mint tea. The selection of tea was impressive, and the portions were generous! All in all, enjoyed our experience here.

A little cafe with great homemade food.

I visited in November and had the Welsh Rarebit. I then returned in August and had the Open Mackerel Sandwich (pictured). Both were of excellent quality and thoroughly enjoyable. The side salads are well put together with a tasty dressing.

The coffee cake is not too bad either… (review has been amended following demolition of cake).

Visited today with our 2 dogs.
The menu is extensive. So much choice.
I had the cheeseboard, perfect & so filling.
Hubby had the bacon sandwich, very impressed.

Excellent service and food. My only complaint which is minor is putting vegan/gluten free together. It happens a lot but many vegans like having gluten and can tell the difference. Having said that it’s great there are so many options for all.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches. Perfect amount of each filling. Staff were very friendly and didn't rush us out despite it being New Years' Eve and closing a bit early. Highly recommend.

A lovely coffee shop upstairs, with lovely friendly staff, I can recommend the cheese scones with nettle cheese and chutney, delicious, and downstairs a deli, with all sorts of lovely goodies to buy, including the nettle cheese, dog friendly, would highly recommend,
