I have eaten here before but tonight I ordered a takeaway. Some miscommunication obviously and I got chicken tikka rather than chicken tikka masala. This chicken was dry and horrible! Nothing like any chicken tikka main I’ve ever had before which usually comes with tomatoes and onions etc. I called and asked for a small pot of massala sauce which they then wanted to charge me £7 for. I told them to forget it. Never again
The second photo is the chicken tikka main I got for £8.95. If I’d ordered tikka masala as I had meant to I think it would have been £1 more so I don’t know how they could charge £7 for sauce. Shocking!!

The food is decent, but be prepared for a long wait if you're ordering delivery. The last three times we placed an order through the app, we received an email stating there would be a "slight delay" — which turned out to be a three-hour wait. During our most recent experience, after receiving the same delay notification, we called the restaurant and were told that if we opted for collection, the order could be ready in just 30 minutes. So, we ended up picking it up ourselves.

Tried this for the first time at the weekend for my birthday … 6 of us . The food was pretty good though my chicken dish from the specials had exactly 4 small chunks of kitchen in it . We took a portion home we did not eat and that was the same . Loads of veg, and 6 small half inch prices of chicken . For £12.50 for a special , that’s not very special to me .
Service was lacking too . Attentive but just. Don’t know when to clear empty plates or take the menus away after taking the order … small things .
On the basis 3 stars is average , it was very average .

I recently dined at The Coriander with nine of my friends, and we had an exceptional experience. From start to finish, the service was impeccable, accommodating our large group with ease. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a night out with friends.

The highlight, of course, was the food. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic flavors and expertly prepared. The variety on the menu catered to all our tastes, from mild to spicy. Special mentions go to the butter chicken and the lamb biryani, which were absolute standouts.

The portion sizes were generous, and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Overall, The Coriander delivered a flawless dining experience that we all enjoyed immensely. Highly recommend!

5 stars!

As an Indian used to lots of different types of Indian food I was blown away by the lamb shank. The meat literally fell off of the bone, the flavour was authentically perfect and the right amount of heat. Too big for one person. Priced reasonably. Happily packed rest for lunch. Staff were friendly and well mannered. Would visit again for sure.

Been there for 3 Tuesdays for the set price meal deal. Price has gone up a shade and portion sized down. But that’s life I guess.
